Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmenlerin üst-biliş farkındalıklarının düzeyini belirlemek ve cinsiyet, mezun olunan fakülte, kıdem süresi ve branş gibi değişkenlere göre incelemektir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama yöntemi ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini Ege Bölgesindeki bir ilde resmi okullarda görev yapan öğretmenler örneklemini ise uygun örnekleme tekniği ile belirlenen 227 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Ölçek kullanarak toplanan veriler, ortalama, bağımsız t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve post-hoc. testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre ölçeğin tamamında ve alt boyutlarında öğretmenlerin üst biliş farkındalık düzeyleri yüksektir. Üst-biliş farkındalıkları ile cinsiyet, kıdem süreleri ve branşları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık yokken mezun oldukları fakülteye göre eğitim fakültesi lehine anlamlı farklılık vardır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the level of metacognitive awareness of teachers and to examine them according to variables such as gender, faculty graduated, seniority and branch. The research was carried out with the screening method, one of the quantitative research methods. The universe of the research consists of 227 teachers determined by convenient sampling technique, and the sample of teachers working in public schools in a province in the Aegean Region. Data collected using scale, mean, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance and post-hoc. analyzed with tests. According to the results of the study, teachers' metacognitive awareness levels are high in all of the scale and its sub-dimensions. While there is no significant difference between metacognitive awareness and gender, seniority and branches, there is a significant difference in favor of education faculty according to the faculty they graduated from.
