Abstract
Göstergebilim göstergeleri inceleyen bir bilim dalı olarak yüzyılın başlarında kurulur. Dilsel, görsel ve simgesel göstergeleri düz anlam, yan anlam, derin anlam ve karşıt anlamlarıyla inceleyen ve çözümleyen göstergebilim günümüzde pek çok bilim ve sanat dalı tarafından bir çözümleme yöntemi olarak kullanılmaktadır. Sanat tarihi boyunca birçok önemli eser günümüz sinema sanatı ve diğer alanlar üzerinde etkili olmuştur. Sanat akımları kendisinden önce gelen akımlardan beslenmiş ve bazen de birbirlerinden etkilenmişlerdir. İnsan ve sanat arasındaki ilişki bütünüyle bizim zihnimize yansır. Magritte eserlerini oluştururken “Herkes bir şeyler saklar ve insanlar ne sakladığını bilmek ister, ama hiçbir zaman bilemez” der. Filmde de tam olarak anlatılmak istenen budur. Magritte, gerçeklik olgusuyla bir çatışma halindedir. Filmde de gerçek tablolarla kopya tablolar arasında bu çatışma gerçekleşmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Magritte’nin Adamın Oğlu Resminin göstergebilim bağlamında incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmada Rene Magritte’nin Adamın Oğlu Resminin içerdiği ikonik ve simgesel göstergeler, göstergebilim sanat eseri çözümleme yöntemleriyle ele alınacak ve çözümlenecektir. Bunun için anlam çözümleme şeması, karşıt anlamlar şeması, Gremias’ın eyleyenler şeması ve göstergebilimsel dörtgen şemalarından yararlanılacaktır.

Abstract
Semiotics was established at the beginning of the century as a branch of science that studies signs. Semiotics, which examines and analyzes linguistic, visual and symbolic signs with denotation, connotation, deep meaning and opposite meanings, is used as an analysis method by many branches of science and art today. Throughout the history of art, many important works have been influential on today's cinema art and other fields. Art movements were fed by the currents that came before them and sometimes they were influenced by each other. The relationship between man and art is completely reflected in our minds. “Everyone hides something, and people want to know what they are hiding, but they never know,” says Magritte while creating his works. This is exactly what the movie is trying to convey. Magritte is in conflict with the fact of reality. In the movie, this conflict takes place between real paintings and copy paintings. The aim of this study is to examine Magritte's Son of Adam Painting in the context of semiotics. In this research, the iconic and symbolic signs contained in Rene Magritte's Son of Man Painting will be discussed and analyzed with semiotic artwork analysis methods. For this, meaning analysis schema, opposite meaning schema, Gremias' agent schema and semiotic quadrilateral schema will be used.
