Abstract
Bu araştırmada mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda flüt eğitiminde kullanılan Trevor Wye ve Rubank başlangıç metotlarının analizi yapılarak, metotlar arasındaki ilişkisel durum, benzer ve farklı yönleri karşılaştırılarak tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılarak hazırlanan betimsel bir çalışmadır. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de konservatuvarlar, Anadolu güzel sanatlar liseleri ve eğitim fakülteleri güzel sanatlar bölümü müzik eğitimi ana bilim dallarında, kısaca mesleki müzik eğitimi veren birçok kurumun flüt eğitiminde kullanılan Trevor Wye Beginner’s Book for the Flute Part One kitabı ile alan yazın taramalarında, kullanılmadığı tespit edilen Rubank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo kitaplarının karşılaştırmalı analizleri yapılmış, analizde elde edilen bulgular içerik analizi yöntemiyle kategorilere ayrılarak sınıflandırılmıştır.Araştırma sonucuna yönelik değerlendirmelerde; Trevor Wye Beginner’s Book for the Flute Part One kitabının, flüt eğitiminin her yönüyle daha kapsayıcı içeriğe sahip olduğu ve icracıyı herhangi bir eğitimci olmadan da bir noktaya kadar öğrenmeyi gerçekleştirebileceği, buna karşılık Rubank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo kitabının teknik ve tekrar çalışmaları açısından daha zengin bir içeriğe sahip olduğu ve icracıyı bir eğitimci aracılığıyla daha nitelikli bir öğrenme gerçekleştirebileceği tespit edilmiştir. Bu verilere göre Rubank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo kitabının, Trevor Wye ve flüt eğitiminde kullanılan diğer başlangıç metotlarına bir alternatif olarak literatürde yer alabileceği öngörülmektedir. Yapılan çalışma ile Rubank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo flüt eğitim metodunun alan yazın araştırmacılarına ve icracılara katkı sağlaması amaçlanmaktadır.

Abstract
In this research, Trevor Wye and Rubank beginning methods used in flute education in institutions providing vocational music education were analyzed and the relational situation between the methods was tried to be determined by comparing their similar and different aspects. The research is a descriptive study prepared by using the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods. In this study, it was determined that Trevor Wye Beginner's Book for the Flute Part One, which is used in conservatories, Anatolian fine arts high schools and education faculties, in music education departments, in short, in flute education of many institutions that provide vocational music education, and in literature reviews. Comparative analyzes of the Rubbank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo books were made, and the findings obtained in the analysis were categorized and classified by the content analysis method. Trevor Wye Beginner's Book for the Flute Part One has more inclusive content in all aspects of flute education and can make the performer learn to a point without any educator, whereas Rubbank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo is a richer technique and rework book. It has been determined that it has content and that the performer can perform a more qualified learning through an educator. According to these data, it is predicted that the Rubank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo book can take place in the literature as an alternative to Trevor Wye and other initial methods used in flute education. With this study, it is aimed to contribute to the researchers and performers of the Rubbank Elementary Method Flute or Piccolo flute education method.
