Abstract
Tarih içerisinde birçok değişim ve dönüşüm meydana gelmiştir. Bu değişimler tarihin belirli dönemlere ayrılmasına neden olmuştur. Batı düşünce tarihinde ise “gerçek” kavramına yaklaşımda geleneksel, modern ve postmodern olarak adlandırılan bu dönemsel ayrılıklar toplumsal ve düşünsel farklılıkları da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu dönemler içerisinde birçok düşünürü ve fikri de barındırmaktadır. “Modernlik sonrası” olarak adlandırılan postmodern dönem de birçok ünlü düşünüre ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Bu düşünürler, bulundukları dönemin düşünce dünyasını ve toplumsal modelini aktarmaya çalışmışlardır. Buna ek olarak düşünürler postmodernizmin haklılığını ortaya koymak için de bir çaba sarf etmişlerdir. Bu makalede postmodern döneme ait önemli düşünürlerden J. F. Lyotard, Z. Bauman, J. Derrida ve M. Foucault’nun postmodern dönem ve özellikle postmodern tarih anlayışı ile ilgili düşünceleri belirtilmiştir.

Abstract
Many changes and transformations have taken place in history. These changes led to the division of history into certain periods. In the history of Western thought, these periodical differences, which are called traditional, modern and postmodern in the approach to the concept of “truth”, have also brought about social and intellectual differences. These periods include many thinkers and ideas. The postmodern period, which is called “post-modernity”, also hosted many famous thinkers. These thinkers tried to convey the world of thought and the social model of their time. In addition, thinkers have made an effort to demonstrate the justification of postmodernism. In this article, thoughts of J. F. Lyotard, Z. Bauman, J. Derrida and M. Foucault, who are among the important thinkers of the postmodern era, are expressed about the postmodern era and especially postmodern understanding of history.
