Abstract
Türk sigorta sektöründe istihdam oldukça geniş bir olanağa sahiptir. Sektörün istihdam kapasitesi; acente teknik personeli, eksper, artüer, broker ve şirket personeli olmak üzere beş alt grup altında ele alınabilir. Böylesine geniş bir yelpazeye sahip olan sigorta sektöründe önlisans ve lisans düzeyindeki mezunların istihdam düzeyi payları ise oldukça düşüktür. Bu durum genellikle önlisans programından ya da lisans bölümünden mezun öğrencilerin sektörde yeterli düzeyde istihdam edilemediklerini göstermektedir. Makale, sigorta sektöründeki istihdam olanağını, üniversitelerde müfredat bağlamında ele almaya çalışmaktadır.

Abstract
Employment for the Turkish insurance sector has a wide range. The employment capacity of the sector can be evaluated in five subgroups: agency technical personnel, surveyors, artuer, brokers and company personnel. In the insurance sector, which has such a wide range, the share of associate and undergraduate graduates in the employment level is quite low. This situation usually indicates that students who have graduated from an associate degree program or a bachelor's degree in this field cannot be employed at an adequate level in the sector. The article tries to consider the employment opportunity that exists in the insurance sector in the context of problems in the educational system provided at universities.
