Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, STEM eğitimi almış farklı branşlarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin STEM eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma modellerinden fenomenolojik desen kullanılarak yapılan araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Şanlıurfa ilindeki resmi ve özel okullarda görev yapan ve ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen toplam 30 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin, STEM uygulamalarının verimliliğinin yeterli eğitim materyaline ve öğretmenin mesleki yeterliğine bağlı olduğunu, STEM eğitiminin öğrencilerin çeşitli becerilerini geliştirdiğini, öğretim sürecinin niteliğini olumlu etkilediğini ancak materyal ve süre yetersizliği gibi birtakım dezavantajlarının bulunduğunu ve bu yaklaşımın gelecekte daha çok yaygınlaşacağını düşündükleri saptanmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlara bağlı olarak; STEM eğitiminin öğretim programına entegrasyonuna, uygulanmasına, fiziki mekân ve materyal desteğine ve öğretmen eğitimine yönelik birtakım önerilere yer verilmiştir.

Abstract
This research aims to determine the opinions of teachers working in different branches who have received STEM education regarding STEM education. The study group of the research conducted by using the phenomenological pattern, which is one of the qualitative research models, consists of 30 teachers who work in public and private schools in the city of Şanlıurfa in 2018-2019 academic year and selected by the criterion sampling method. The data of the research were collected using a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. The data obtained were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the research, it has been detected that the efficiency of STEM practices depends on adequate educational material and professional competence of the teacher, that STEM education improves the various skills of students, affects the quality of the teaching process positively, but It has some disadvantages such as lack of material and time and they think that this approach will become more widespread in the future. Depending on the results achieved; Some suggestions for the curriculum, integration, implementation, physical space and material support and teacher training of STEM education are included.
