Abstract
Ülkemizde elektro gitar öğretim metotları konusunda Ahmet Seyfi Erkan, Burak İşbilen. Selim Işık, Aycan Karadaş ve Bora Uslusoy gibi müzisyenlerimiz önemli yaptığı çalışmalar yapmış, bunları kitap veya makale olarak yayınlamıştır. Bu araştırmada bu metotlar arasında ilk çalışmalardan biri olarak kabul edilen Ahmet Seyfi ERKAN’ın “Rock Gitar ve Teori” adlı çalışması karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Yazarın çalışmaları müzik dünyasında önemli değerlendirme kriterleri olarak kabul edilen öğreti stilleri, müzik tarzı içerikleri ve öğreti seviyeleri dikkate alınarak inceleme yapılmıştır. Araştırma ve inceleme yöntemi olarak betimsel yöntem ve tarihsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Analiz ederken baz alınan ana parametre metodun başlangıç seviyesinden orta seviyeye gelinceye kadar enstrüman öğretiminde teknik ve teori konularında düzey yükseltmedeki basamaklandırma başarısı olmuştur. Analizlerde çıkan sonuçlar detaylı bir biçimde yazılmış ve son olarak da metotların karşılaştırması yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda metotların barındırdığı ortak içerikler, konu basamaklandırma başarısı ve elektro gitar öğretisine yaklaşım şekilleri yazılı ve tablolandırılmış biçimde sunulmuştur.

Abstract
The musicians such as Ahmet Seyfi Erkan, Burak İşbilen, Selim Işık, Aycan Karadaş and Bora Uslusoy on electric guitar teaching methods in our country have done important studies and published them as books or articles. In this article was comparatively investigated the book that is considered to be one of the first written work on electric guitar training methods named as “Rock Guitar and Theory" by Ahmet Seyfi Erkan's in Turkey. The author's studies were examined by taking into account the teaching styles, musical style and teaching levels, which are accepted as important evaluation criteria in the music world. Descriptive method and historical survey method were used as research and analysis methods. The main parameter used in the analysis was the success of the method in leveling up the technique and theory in instrument teaching from beginner to intermediate level. The results of the analyzes were written in detail and finally, the comparison of the methods was made. As a result of the study, the common contents of the methods, the success of subject stratification and the approach to electric guitar teaching were presented in written and tabulated form.
