Abstract
Bu çalışmada, farklı klasmanlarda görev yapan futbol hakemlerinin iletişim becerileri ile özgüven düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, bir konuya ilişkin katılımcıların görüşlerinin ve algılarının belirlenmesine yönelik olduğundan, betimsel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın evreni, 2018-2019 futbol sezonunda Türkiye’de farklı klasmanlarda görev yapan futbol hakemlerinden, araştırmanın örneklemi ise, Aydın ilinde farklı klasmanlarda görev yapan 206 futbol hakeminden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, 9 sorudan oluşan Kişisel Bilgi Formu, 25 sorudan oluşan İletişim Becerilerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği, 33 sorudan oluşan Özgüven Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, SPSS 23.0 istatistik paket programı ile değerlendirilmiş, anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, yaşı büyük olan hakemlerin yaşı küçük olanlara göre, uzun süre hakemlik yapanların kısa süre hakemlik yapanlara göre, üst klasmanlarda görev yapan hakemlerin alt klasmanlarda görev yapanlara göre, yabancı dil bilen hakemlerin yabancı dil bilmeyenlere göre, iletişim becerilerinin ve özgüven düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bunun yanında, futbol hakemlerinin iletişim becerileri ile özgüvenleri arasında pozitif yönlü yüksek düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu, futbol hakemlerinin iletişim becerileri arttıkça özgüvenlerinin arttığı aynı şekilde özgüvenleri arttıkça iletişim becerilerinin de arttığı görülmüştür.

Abstract
In this study, the communication skills and self-confidence levels of football referees working in different categories were examined according to various variables. The study is in a descriptive screening model, as it is aimed at determining participants' views and perceptions on a topic. The universe of the research consists of football referees serving in different categories in Turkey during the 2018-2019 football season, while the sample of the research consists of 206 football referees serving in different categories in Aydın province. Personal Information Form consisting of 9 questions, Communication Skills Assessment Scale consisting of 25 questions and self confidence scale consisting of 33 questions were used as data collection tools. The results of the study were evaluated with SPSS 23.0 statistical package program and the significance level was accepted as p<0.05. The research concluded that the older referees had higher communication skills and self-confidence levels than the younger ones, the longer referees had shorter referees, the upper referees had lower referees, the foreign referees had higher communication skills and self-confidence levels than those who did not speak a foreign language. In addition, it has been observed that there is a positive high level of meaningful relationship between the communication skills of football referees and their self-confidence; in the same way that football referees ' self-confidence increases as their communication skills increase, their communication skills increase as their self-confidence increases.
