Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlahiyat Fakültesi öğrencilerinin “eğitim psikolojisi dersi” ile ilgili metaforik algılarını belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma modellerinden biri olan olgubilim (fenomenoloji) kullanılmıştır. Kafkas Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesinde öğrenim gören 95 öğrenci araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada İlahiyat Fakültesi öğrencilerin eğitim psikolojisi dersi ile ilgili metaforlarını belirlemek için yarı yapılandırılmış bir form kullanılmıştır. Bu formda öğrencilerden “eğitim psikolojisi dersi ……. gibidir/benzer; çünkü…….” cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Araştırmada verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın güvenirliği 0.98 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda, öğrencilerin eğitim psikolojisi dersi ile ilgili toplam 60 farklı metafor geliştirdikleri görülmüştür. Öğrenciler eğitim psikolojisi dersi ile ilgili en fazla felsefe, hayat, su, matematik, öğretmen, hayat dersi, insan, öğretmenlik, kişisel gelişim, anne, hayat rehberi gibi metaforları belirtmişlerdir. Metaforlar ortak özellikleri dikkate alınarak 6 farklı kategoride toplanmıştır. Araştırmada metaforların analizi sonucunda kavramsal kategoriler “Yönlendiren-Faydalı”, “Diğer Disiplinlerle Bağlantılı”, “Yaşam Boyu Süreç”, “İhtiyaç-Gerekli”, “Zengin içeriğe sahip” ve “Keyif veren” başlıkları altında yer almıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine Theology Faculty students’ metaphoric perceptions related to “Educational Psychology Lesson”. Phenomenology which is one of the qualitative research models was used in the research. The study group of this research consisted of 95 students of Theology Faculty who studying at Kafkas University. A semi-structured questionnaire was used to determine Theology Faculty students’ metaphoric perceptions related to “Educational Psychology Lesson”. In the questionnaire, the students were asked to complete following sentence: " Educational Psychology lesson is like/…; because…” Content analysis was used for the data analysis in the research. The reliability of the research was calculated as 0.98. As a result of the findings obtained from the research, it was found that 60 different metaphors were developed by students for related to the Educational Psychology lesson. The most used metaphors by the students are as follows; philosophy, life, water, mathematics, teacher, life lesson, human, teaching, personal development, mother, life guide etc. According to common features of metaphors, the metaphors were classified under 6 different conceptual categories. The conceptual categories emerged from the metaphors were involved under the titles of “Guiding-Useful”, “Related to Other Disciplines”, “Lifelong Process”, “Need- Necessary”, “With Rich Content” and “Pleasurable” in the research.
