Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı depresyon düzeylerindeki değişimlere duyarlı bir ölçme aracı olarak 6 (KEDÖ-6), 11 (KEDÖ-11) ve 16 (KEDÖ-16) maddeden oluşan farklı formları olan Kutcher ve arkadaşları (Brooks, 2004; Brooks, Krulewicz ve Kutcher, 2003; LeBlanc, Almudevar, Brooks ve Kutcher, 2002) tarafından geliştirilen, 2004 yılında 11 maddelik formu hazırlanan Kutcher Ergen Depresyonu Ölçeği (KEDÖ - 11)’nin, Samsun’da ki lise öğrencilerinden oluşan bir grup üzerinde Türkçeye uyarlanma çalışmasını yapmaktır. Ölçeğin dil eşdeğerliğini test etmek için İngilizce öğretmenliği anabilim dalındaki son sınıf öğrencilere ilk olarak ölçeğin İngilizce formu sonrasında da Türkçe formu uygulanarak, Türkçe ve İngilizce uygulaması sonucu elde edilen puanlar arasında çok yüksek düzeyde pozitif yönde (r = .96) bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. KEDÖ-11’in faktör yapısını belirlemek amacıyla uygulanan açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri sonuçlarına göre ölçek tek boyutlu bir yapı göstermektedir. Kaiser-Meyer Örneklem yeterliliği katsayısının .83, ve Barlett küresellik testinin anlamlı olduğu (χ²(55) = 324.3, p < .001) görülmüştür. KEDÖ’nin her bir madde için madde faktör yükleri için yapılan madde toplam korelasyonu sonucunda ölçeğin bütün maddeleri için madde faktör yük değerleri .44 ila .73 arasında değişmekte olup, toplam varyansın % 41.60’ ını açıklamaktadır. Gerçekleştirilen doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda tek faktörlü modelin model veri uyumunun mükemmel olduğu görülmüştür (χ2= 60.758, χ2 /sd = 1.38, CFI= .966, TLI= .958, RMSEA= .058, p= .342 % 90 G.A [ .006-.090), WRMR= .684). Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha iç tutarlılık katsayısı .82 olduğu bulunmuştur. Gerçekleştirilen Tek yönlü ANOVA analizleri sonucunda katılımcıların depresyon puanlarının cinsiyet (Welch F(1,228.58)= 8.14, p<.01) ve akademik başarı değerlendirmelerine (F(3, 227)= 3.23, p <.05) göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to adapt the Kutcher Adolescent Depression Scale(KADS11) which prepared in 2004, to Turkish in group of High School Students in Samsun, which is developed by Kutcher et al.( Brooks, 2004; Brooks, Krulewicz ve Kutcher, 2003; LeBlanc, Almudevar, Brooks ve Kutcher, 2002)in three forms KADS6, KADS11 and KADS 16 which are sensitive to changes in depression levels. To testing the language equivalance of the scale work with final year students of English Language Teaching Department. Firstly English form of the scale and than the Turkish form of scale applied to English Language Teaching Department. We found a very high relationship (r =. 96) among the scores between Turkish and English forms of scale. In order to determine the factor structure of KADS11, according to the results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, the scale has one-dimensional structure. Kaiser-Meyer Sampling adequacy coefficient of .83, and the Barlett sphericity test was significant (4² (55) = 324.3, p <.001). For all items of the KADS, item factor load values for all items of the scale ranged from .44 to .73, explaining 41.60% of the total variance. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis performed, it was found that the model data fit of the single-factor model was excellent (χ2= 60.758, χ2 /sd = 1.38, CFI= .966, TLI= .958, RMSEA= .058, p= .342 % 90 G.A [ .006-.090), WRMR= .684). The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale was found to be .82. As a result of the one-way ANOVA analysis, the depression scores of the participants differed significantly according to the gender (Welch F (1,228.58) = 8.14, p <.01) and academic achievement evaluations (F (3, 227) = 3.23, p <.05).
