TOKAT GAZİOSMANPAŞA ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÇOCUK GELİŞİMİ PROGRAMI ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN GELECEĞE DAİR UMUTSUZLUK DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract
Bu araştırma ile Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Gençlik Hizmetleri ve Çocuk Bakımı Bölümü, Çocuk Gelişimi Programı öğrencilerinin geleceğe dair umutsuzluk düzeylerinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırma, tarama modeline uygun olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında nicel veri toplama yöntemlerinden anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçek 20 madde ve üç alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Bu alt boyutlar, “gelecekle ilgili duygular ve beklentiler”( 1-3-7-11-18. maddeler), “motivasyon kaybı” (2-4-9-12-14-16-17-20. maddeler) ve “umut” (5-6-8-10-13-15-19. maddeler) olmak üzere belirlenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmanın evrenini Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Gençlik Hizmetleri ve Çocuk Bakımı Bölümü, Çocuk Gelişimi Programı’nda öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise 2018–2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Gençlik Hizmetleri ve Çocuk Bakımı Bölümü, Çocuk Gelişimi Programı’nda öğrenim gören toplam 177 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi kısmında SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Kullanılan ölçme aracının geçerlilik ve güvenirlik seviyeleri kabul edilebilir değerler arasındadır. Öğrencilerin yaşamlarının çoğunu geçirdikleri yerleşim birimi durum değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılıklar diğer değişkenlere oranla daha fazla çıkmış olup, ilden daha küçük yerleşim biriminde yaşayanların umutsuzluk düzeylerinin daha fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Toplam ölçek puanına göre, araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin geleceğe dair umutsuzluk düzeylerinin hafif düzeyde olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
By the help of this research it’s aimed that measuring the level of hopelessness of the students studying at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Youth Services and Child Care Department Child Development Programme about future. This research is made according to the scanning model. During the collection of research data the survey technique, one of the quantitative data collection methods, is used.The scale used in the study consists of 20 items and three sub-dimensions. These dimensions are defined as “future feelings and expectations” ( 1-3-7-11-18. matters), , loss of motivation (2-4-9-12-14-16-17-20. matters) and “hope” (5-6-8-10-13-15-19. matters) The universe of the research consists of the students studying at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Youth Services and Child Care Department, Child Development Programme. The sample of the study is consists of the 177 students who studies at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Youth Services and Child Care Department, Child Development Programme in 2018-2019 academic year fall term.SPSS package is used in the analysis of the data obtained from the study. The validity and reliability levels of the used measuring instrument are acceptable.It has been figured out that the place where the students spend most of their lives is more significant than other factors and the level of hopelessness belongs to people who lives in places smaller than cities is higher than others’. According to total scale score , the level of hopelessness of the students who participated in the study has been found to be low.
