Abstract
Başarılı bir karakter, kişilik özellikleri ile izleyicinin empati kurabildiği, benimsediği, zaman zaman örnek aldığı klişelerden uzak özgün yaratımlardır. Karakterin başarılı görsel tasarımı ise; bu kişilik özelliklerinin resimleyene ait deneyim ve özgün yaklaşımlarla gelişerek somutlaştırılmış halidir. Hikaye, film veya oyun, herhangi bir eserin başarısı her şeyden önce ana karakter ve bu karaktere ait dünyanın nasıl olduğu ile doğru orantılıdır. Çocuk kitaplarında da hikayeyi okuyan, dinleyen ya da izleyenin kendisini kahraman ile özdeşleştirmesi olağan bir durumdur. Çocuk, kahramanın dünyası ve etrafında gelişen olaylar örgüsü ile kendi çevresi arasında bağlantılar kurar. Bu kritik unsur göz önüne alındığında kahramanın görsel yapısı belirlenirken çocuğun ilgi dünyasının keşfedilmesi en az onun yönlendirilmesi kadar önemlidir. Karakterin görsel tasarımını belirleyen bazı temel faktörler söz konusudur. Bu faktörlerin başında uygulama tekniği gelir. Tasarımcı kendi anlatım diline uygun gördüğü ya da daha başarılı olacağını düşündüğü bir tekniği seçerek tasarıma yön vermeye başlar. Bir diğer faktör karaktere ait biçimsel özelliklerin nasıl oluşturulduğu ile ilgilidir. Biçimsel özellikler form ve renk olmak üzere iki başlıkta incelenebilir. Form, karaktere ait biçimselliğin kabaca bütünüdür. Bu bütün resimleme alanında sıklıkla kullanılan uygulama anlayışlarıyla görselleştirilir. Renk veya renk ilişkileri görsel bir ambiyansa, karakteristik yapıya (görsellik veya içerik anlamlarında olabilir) ve konu ya da bir kavrama ayrı ayrı ya da iç içe hizmet edebilir. Abstract
A successful character is original creations that the viewer can empathize with personality traits, adopt, imitate time to time away from stereotypes. The successful visual design of the character is; an embodiment of these personality traits by developing with the experience and original approaches of the illustrator. Story, film or play, the success of any work is first of all proportional to the main character and how the world of this character is. In children's books, identify with the hero is common for reading, for listening the story or for the viewer himself. The child builds connections between the heroes' world and his or her own environment with the events that take place around him. Considering this critical element, while determining the visual structure of the hero, the discovery of the world of interest of the child is at least as important as its guidance. There are some basic factors that determine the visual design of the character. One of these factors is the practice technique. The designer starts to give direction to the design by choosing the technique that he thinks is appropriate or becomes more successful. Another factor relates to how the formal properties of the character are formed. Formal properties can be examined under two headings: form and color. The form is roughly the whole of character's formality. This is visualized with the styles of practice that are often used in the field of illustration. Color or color relationships can serve as a visual ambience, characteristic structure (which can be visual or content) and a subject or a conception separately or intertwined. The decisive last factor in character design is the concept of visualization related with the original language of the illustrator, in other words is style.
