Abstract
Louise Bourgeois en önemli kadın çağdaş sanatçılardan biri olarak profesyonel sanat yaşamı boyunca bir tür katarsis yaşayarak yarattığı eserleri ile öne çıkmıştır. Resim, baskı, kumaş, metal devasa heykelleri ve yerleştirmeleri ile soyut dışavurumculuk , minimalizm ve feminizm akımlarında kendine yer bulmuştur. Louise Bourgeois'e göre sanat, hem duygusal ve psişik açıdan iyileşmeyi, rahatlamayı hem de kendisini ve çevresini daha iyi anlamayı sağlayan bir araç veya stratejidir. Çoğu zaman onu tehdit eden , ürküten düşünce ve ruh hallerini yansıtan ama aynı zamanda zevk, sıcaklık, mizah ve ironi içeren eserler üretmiştir. Bu bakış açısı onun güçlü duygularının yansıması olarak, zekası ve sanatsal duyarlılığının birleşimi ile özgün eserler üretmesini sağlamıştır. Bourgeois aynı zamanda çevresindeki insanlara ve karşılaştığı olaylara karşı hissettiği tepkileri anlamak ve kontrol etmek istemektedir. Sanat yapmak ona bunu sağlamıştır. Sanatçının eserlerinin analizini semiyolojik açıdan incelemek; görünenin ötesine bakarak anlam derinliğini yakalamaya yardımcı olacaktır. Eserlerinde kullandığı sembolik öğeleri; on iki yaşından itibaren tuttuğu günlüklerde gördüğümüz çizimleri, sonrasında heykelleri ve yerleştirmelerinin semiyoloji ile ilişkilendirilmesi kaçınılmazdır. Bu çalışmada sanatçının özyaşam öyküsü üzerine kurduğu sanat yaşamı bağlamında; üretimlerindeki göstergelerini nasıl kullandığını; anlamlandırıldığında kültürel bağlam içindeki yeri, göstergebilim ilkeleri doğrultusunda çizim ve yerleştirme örneklerinin analizi ile incelenecektir. Çalışma nitel bir araştırmadır ve literatür tarama yöntemi ile yapılmıştır.

Louise Bourgeois, as one of the most important female contemporary artists, has come to the forefront with her works created by experiencing a kind of catharsis throughout her professional art life. She has found a place in the movements of abstract expressionism, minimalism and feminism with her paintings, prints, fabric and metal giant sculptures and installations. According to Louise Bourgeois, art is a tool or strategy that enables emotional and psychic healing, relaxation, and a better understanding of oneself and one's environment. She has produced works that often reflect thoughts and moods that threaten and frighten her, but also contain pleasure, warmth, humor and irony. This perspective enabled her to produce original works with the combination of her intelligence and artistic sensitivity, as a reflection of her strong emotions. Bourgeois also wants to understand and control the reactions she feels to the people around her and the events she encounters. Making art provided her with this. To examine the analysis of the artist's works from a semiological perspective; It will help to capture the depth of meaning by looking beyond the visible. The symbolic elements she uses in her works: It is inevitable that her drawings, which we see in the dia ries she kept since the age of twelve, and later her sculptures and installations, are associated with semiology. In this study, in the context of the artist's artistic life based on her autobiography; how they use indicators in their production; When it is given meaning, its place in the cultural context will be examined by analyzing drawing and placement examples in line with the principles of semiotics. The study is a qualitative research and was conducted using the literature review method. We see the works of Louise Bourgeois in various genres in different periods, created by experiencing a kind of catharsis throughout her professional art life. |
