Abstract
Türk Dokuma sanatında az bilinen Barak kilimleri gerek doğal boyalardan elde edilen renkleri, gerek kendine has desenleri, gerek ise Barak Yörüklerinin kendine has dokuma teknikleriyle aslında zengin bir potansiyele sahiptir. Bugüne kadar yapılan Barak kilimleri ile ilgili çalışmalarda sadece kullanılan malzemeleri, teknikleri, türleri, ebatları ve kompozisyon yapıları incelenmiştir. Araştırma konumuz Antalya’nın Kaş ilçesinde uygulanmakta olan “Yöresel Ürünler Turizmle Buluşuyor” projesinin “Barak Kilimleri Ölmesin Renklerimiz Solmasın” alt başlığı ile oluşturulan kapsam içerisinde yeniden tasarlanarak dokunmakta olan Barak kilimlerini fotoğraflayıp bir katalog hazırlayarak, kullanılan malzemelerin, tekniklerin ve kompozisyon yapısı özelliklerinin ortaya konulmasının yanında, estetik yapılarının ve tasarım özelliklerinin değerlendirmelerini içermektedir. Barak kilimlerinde tamamen geometrik motifler kullanılmaktadır. Bu motifler; koca yanış, tokmaklı, yelekli, bışkılı (bıçkılı) göbeği, kırkmıklı, göbü (cici), sediler, Halil Efendiler’dir.
Araştırmanın amacı günümüze kadar geleneksel olarak dokuma çalışmalarından farklı olarak araştırma kapsamına alınan Barak kilimlerinin bölgesel özellikleri göz önünde bulundurularak estetik yapısı açısından da değerlendirilmeleri kapsamında tasarım özelliklerinin ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Barak kilimlerinden yöresel özellikleri açısından farklı olan 8 adet dokuma örneği araştırma kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Yüzey şema yapılarına göre farklılık gösteren ve bölgesel üretim üslubunu yansıtan, orijinal yapısı korunarak günümüze ulaşan kilimler seçilerek çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Günümüzde unutulan Barak kilimleri, yapılmış olan bu proje kapsamında kurulan kooperatif aracılığı ile yeniden tasarlanıp aslına uygun olarak üretilmektedir. Yöre halkına katkı sağlaması ve bu kilimlerin turizmde tanıtılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada yapılan proje kapsamında üretilen kilimleri tanıtmak, gelecek nesillere aktarmak ve literatüre kazandırmak konunun önemini ortaya koymaktadır.

Abstract
Barak rugs, which are little known in Turkish Weaving art, actually have a rich potential with their colors obtained from natural dyes, their unique patterns, and the unique weaving techniques of the Barak Yoruks. In the studies on Barak rugs carried out so far, only the materials used, techniques, types, sizes and composition structures have been examined. Our research topic is to reveal the materials, techniques and composition structure features of the materials used, techniques and composition structure by photographing the redesigned and woven Barak rugs within the scope of the "Local Products Meet Tourism" project, which is being implemented in the Kaş district of Antalya, under the subtitle "Let Our Colors Not Fade". It also includes evaluations of their aesthetic structures and design features. Barak rugs use completely geometric motifs. These motifs; the big yanış, the mallet, the vest, the bışkılı (bıçkılı) göbeği, the forty-milked, the göbü (cici), the sedis, are Halil Efendiler.
The aim of the research is to reveal the design features of Barak rugs, which have been included in the scope of research, unlike traditional weaving works, by considering their regional characteristics and evaluating them in terms of their aesthetic structure. 8 weaving samples, which are different from Barak rugs in terms of their local characteristics, were evaluated within the scope of the research. Rugs that differ according to their surface scheme structures and reflect the regional production style, and have survived to the present day with their original structure preserved, were selected and included in the study. Today, forgotten Barak rugs are redesigned and produced in accordance with the original through the cooperative established within the scope of this project. It is aimed to contribute to the local people and to promote these rugs in tourism. Introducing the rugs produced within the scope of the project carried out in this study, transferring them to future generations and introducing them to the literature reveals the importance of the subject.
