Abstract
Bu çalışmada okul müdürlerinin toksik liderlik davranışlarının öğretmenlerin mesleki performansları üzerindeki etkisini ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için 384 okul müdürü ve öğretmene ölçme aracı uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, okul müdürlerinin toksik liderlik davranışlarının öğretmenlerin mesleki performansını olumsuz etkilediğini göstermektedir. Bu toksik liderlik davranışları arasında yetersiz iletişim, olumsuz tutum ve davranışlar, haksız eleştiri, sürekli denetleme ve kontrol, haksızlık, baskı ve tehdit yer almaktadır. Ayrıca, okul müdürlerinin yapıcı liderlik davranışlarının öğretmenlerin mesleki performansını olumlu etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu yapıcı liderlik davranışları arasında güven sağlama, destek, motivasyon, takdir, hedef belirleme, iş birliği ve öğretmen gelişimini destekleme yer almaktadır. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma okul müdürlerinin toksik liderlik davranışlarının öğretmenlerin mesleki performansını olumsuz etkilediğini göstermektedir. Bu nedenle, okul müdürleri yapıcı liderlik davranışları sergilemeli ve öğretmenlerin gelişimine destek olacak bir ortam yaratmalıdır.

Abstract
This study examines the impact of toxic leadership behaviors of school principals on the professional performance of teachers. For this purpose, surveys were administered to 384 school principals and teachers, and the data obtained were analyzed using statistical methods.
The research findings indicate that the toxic leadership behaviors of school principals have a negative impact on the professional performance of teachers. These toxic leadership behaviors include inadequate communication, negative attitudes and behaviors, unjust criticism, continuous monitoring and control, unfairness, pressure, and threats.
In addition, it has been revealed that the constructive leadership behaviors of school principals have a positive effect on the professional performance of teachers. These constructive leadership behaviors include providing trust, support, motivation, appreciation, goal setting, collaboration, and supporting teacher development.As a result, this study demonstrates that toxic leadership behaviors of school principals have a negative impact on the professional performance of teachers. Therefore, school principals should exhibit constructive leadership behaviors and create an environment that supports the development of teachers.
