Abstract
Bu çalışma ile ilkokullarda öğrenci velilerinin öğretmenlerle ilgili metaforik olarak algılarının neler olduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Silifke Şehit Barbaros Yılmaz İlkokulu’nda öğrencisi olan 30 veli oluşturmaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel analiz tekniğinin kullanıldığı bu araştırmada veriler, hazırlanan görüşme formları ile toplanacaktır. Velilerin öğretmen kavramı ile ilgili metaforik algıları ortaya çıkarılacak ve bu metaforik algılar kavram olarak gruplanacaktır. Velilerin öğretmenlerle ilgili en çok hangi metaforik algı grubuna sahip oldukları belirlenmeye çalışılacaktır. İlkokullarda velilerin sınıf öğretmenlerine yönelik metaforik algılarını ortaya çıkaracak olması bakımından önemli bir çalışma olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışma, ilkokullarda velilerin, sınıf öğretmenlerine yönelik olumlu algıya sahip olduklarını ve bu bağlamda olumlu metaforlar ürettiğini göstermektedir. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin rollerinin sadece bilgi vermek ve öğretmek olmadığı bunun dışında da çeşitli roller yüklendiğini görebilmekteyiz. Bu bağlamda ele aldığımızda ilkokullarda sınıf öğretmenlerinin bu beklentiye yönelik olarak çeşitli yüklenen rollerden haberdar olmasının önemli olduğu söylenebilir. Velilerin okul, öğretmen v.b. kavramlara yönelik algılarını ortaya çıkarıcı çalışmaların daha çok çalışma gerçekleştirilebilir. Bu sayede öğretmen ve yöneticiler için önemli kaynaklar oluşturulabilir.

Abstract
With this study, it was tried to determine the metaphorical perceptions of parents of students about teachers in primary schools. The sample of the study consists of 30 parents who are students in Silifke Şehit Barbaros Yılmaz Primary School. In this research, in which the descriptive analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, is used, the data will be collected with the prepared interview forms. The metaphorical perceptions of the parents about the concept of teacher will be revealed and these metaphorical perceptions will be grouped as a concept. It will be tried to determine which metaphorical perception group parents have most about teachers. It is thought to be an important study in terms of revealing the metaphorical perceptions of parents towards classroom teachers in primary schools. This study shows that parents in primary schools have a positive perception towards classroom teachers and produce positive metaphors in this context. We can see that the roles of classroom teachers are not only to give information and teach, but also to assume various roles. When we consider it in this context, it can be said that it is important for primary school teachers to be aware of the various roles assumed for this expectation. Parents' school, teacher, etc. More studies can be carried out to reveal the perceptions of the concepts. In this way, important resources can be created for teachers and administrators.
