Abstract
Kitaplar, basılı ve dijital medyada okuyucu ile bir araya gelen yayınlardır. İçeriklerinin yanı sıra, tasarımlarıyla da okuyucunun ilgisini çekmektedirler. Bu doğrultuda iyi bir tasarıma sahip olan kitaplar, pek çok kitap arasında dikkat çekici olabilmektedir. Kitap kapağı tasarımlarının etkili olması ve aynı zamanda içerikleri hakkında da okuyuculara bilgi vermesi beklenmektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda kitap kapağı tasarımları gerçekleştirilirken; tipografi, görsel ve renk gibi grafik öğelerin işlevsel ve yaratıcı bir biçimde kullanılması hedeflenmektedir.
Bu çalışmanın amacı; çok satan kitap kapaklarının görsel tasarım açısından nasıl olduğunu açığa çıkarmaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini; Türkiye’de 2023 yılı çok satan kitaplar oluşturmaktadır.Bu çalışmada, çok satan kitaplar görsel tasarım unsurları çerçevesindeincelenmiştir. Çalışma evreni içinden D&R çok satan “edebiyat/roman” kategorisinde olanlar ele alınmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 636 kitap kapağı tasarımı örneklem olarak belirlenmiş ve çalışmada içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çok satan kitapların kapak tasarımları, içerik analizi çerçevesinde hazırlanmış olan kategorilere göre (tipografi, görsel ve renk) incelenmiştir.

Abstract
Books are publications that come together with the reader in print and digital media. In addition to their content, they also attract the attention of the reader with their designs. In this direction, books with a good design can be remarkable among many books. Book cover designs are expected to be effective and at the same time inform readers about their content. For this purpose, while designing book covers; it is aimed to use graphic elements such as typography, visual and color in a functional and creative way.
The aim of this study; is to reveal how bestselling book covers are in terms of visual design. The study universe of the research; 2023 best selling books in Turkey. In this study, best selling books were examined within the framework of visual design elements. Among the study universe, those in the D&R best selling "literature/novel" category were examined. In this direction, 636 book cover designs were determined as a sample within the scope of the study and the content analysis method was used in the study.
