Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı, eğitim süreçlerinde veli katılımını incelemektir. Okul ve çevre arasındaki ilişkide en önemli unsur okul ve aile arasındaki ilişki ve işbirliğidir. Okul ve aile arasındaki ilişkiyi ve işbirliğini güçlendirecek etkinliklerin belirlenmesi ve düzenlenmesi okulun ve öğretmenin sorumluluğundadır. Etkili öğretim için aile ve öğretmen arasındaki sağlıklı iletişim esastır. Bu iletişim, okulda veli katılımını gerektirir. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni Tekirdağ ili Süleymanpaşa ilçesinde bulunan velilerden oluşturulmuştur. Örneklemi de Tekirdağ ili Süleymanpaşa ilçesinde bulunan okullarda görevli 306 okul velisidir. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Veriler çevrimiçi ortamda toplanmıştır. Google Formlar aracılığıyla anket formu toplanmış ve anketler mail ortamında link olarak paylaşılmıştır. Katılımcılar link üzerinden anket formuna erişim sağlayabilmiş ve ankete katılım sağlamışlardır. Araştırma sonucunda genel olarak sorulara yönelik ortalamalar incelendiğinde, tüm ortalamalar 3’ün üzerindedir. Bu durum incelemeye alınan örneklem grubunda veli katılımının yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir.

Abstract
The aim of the research is to examine parent involvement in educational processes. The most important element in the relationship between the school and the environment is the relationship and cooperation between the school and the family. It is the responsibility of the school and the teacher to determine and organize activities that will strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the school and the family. Healthy communication between the family and the teacher is essential for effective teaching. This communication requires parent involvement at school. Descriptive survey model was used in the research. The universe of the research was formed from the parents living in Tekirdağ province Süleymanpaşa district. The sample is 306 school parents working in schools located in Tekirdağ province Süleymanpaşa district. Questionnaire was used as data collection tool. Data were collected online. Questionnaire forms were collected via Google Forms and the questionnaires were shared as links in the mail environment. Participants were able to access the survey form via the link and participated in the survey. As a result of the research, when the averages for the questions are examined in general, all averages are above 3. This shows that parent participation is high in the sample group examined.
