Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında okul bahçelerinin kullanımını hem nitelik hem de nicelik olarak arttıracak bir uygulama örneği sunmaktır. Kırıkkale ilinde okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarının durumu incelendiğinde okul bahçelerinin istenilen nitelikte olmadığı ve yeteri kadar kullanılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Okul bahçelerinin yeteri kadar kullanılmama sebepleri arasında okul bahçelerinin donanımın yeterli olmaması ve bunun için kaynakların olmamasıdır. Bu nedenle bu araştırmada atık materyaller kullanarak, geri dönüşüm odaklı bir bakış açısı çerçevesinde ve okul- aile işbirliğine dayalı olarak okul bahçesinin düzenlemesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için çalışma grubu olarak Kırıkkale İl merkezinde yer alan Şehit Mustafa Nohut Anaokulu belirlenmiştir. İlk olarak okulun ihtiyaç ve kaynaklarına yönelik analizler gerçekleştirilmiş. Okul bahçesinin büyüklüğü, var olan kaynaklar, ihtiyaçlar, yaşanabilecek sorunlar yönünde okul idaresi ve öğretmenleri, araştırmacı işbirliğine gidilmiştir. İkinci aşamada ailelere yönelik bilgilendirme toplantıları yapılmış katılımcılara okulun mevcut durumu, çocukların sağlıklı gelişimi için dış mekanda oyunun önemi, okul bahçelerinin bu ihtiyacı karşılamadaki yeri ve önemi konularında genel bir toplantı yapılmıştır. Üçüncü aşamada okuldaki her sınıf öğretmeni okul bahçesine katkı yapacağı bir alanı belirleyerek bu alanla ilgili proje örneği fikirlerini sunarak velileri ile toplantılar düzenlemiştir. Son aşamada ise tasarımlar okul – aile işbirliği ile tamamlanmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this research is to present an application example that will increase the use of school gardens of preschool education institutions both in terms of quality and quantity. When the situation of pre-school education institutions in Kırıkkale province was examined, it was determined that the school gardens were not of the desired quality and were not used enough. Among the reasons why school gardens are not used enough, school gardens are not equipped enough and resources are not available for this. For this reason, in this research, it is aimed to organize the school garden using waste materials, within the framework of a recycling-oriented perspective and based on school-family cooperation. Martyr Mustafa Nohut Kindergarten, located in the city center of Kırıkkale, was determined as the working group in order to achieve this aim. First, an analysis of the school's needs and resources was carried out. In terms of the size of the school garden, existing resources, needs, and possible problems, cooperation was made with the school administration, teachers and researchers. In the second stage, information meetings were held for families and a general meeting was held with the participants on the current situation of the school, the importance of outdoor play for the healthy development of children, the place and importance of school gardens in meeting this need. In the third stage, each classroom teacher in the school determined an area to contribute to the school garden and held meetings with their parents by presenting their project example ideas about this area. In the last stage, the designs were completed with the cooperation of school and family.
