Okul Yöneticilerinin Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrencilerin Okula Uyumunda Karşılaştığı Problemler ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract
Bu araştırmada yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin okula uyumlarında karşılaştıkları problemler ve problemlere çözüm önerilerine dair okul yöneticilerinin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Afyonkarahisar ili Sinanpaşa ilçesi ve Eskişehir ili Çifteler ilçelerinde yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin bulunduğu resmi okullarda görev yapan 15 okul yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 8 soruluk yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular ışığında ulaşılan sonuçlar şunlardır: Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin Türkçeyi yeterli düzeyde bilmemesi okula uyumlarını zorlaştıran tüm problemlerin temelindedir. Akademik başarı, sosyal kabul, arkadaş edinme, okulun kültürüne uyum ve veli iletişiminde de problemler yaşandığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Okullarda yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin okula uyumlarını kolaylaştırmak için herhangi bir çalışma yapılmadığı ancak bazı okulların rehberlik faaliyetleri, veli bilgilendirmeleri gerçekleştirdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yaşanan uyum problemlerinin çözümünde genel öneri Türkçe dil probleminin çözülmesi yönündedir. Sosyal ve sportif faaliyetlere katılımlarının desteklenmesinin uyum problemlerinin çözümünde fayda sağlayacağı ulaşılan sonuçlar arasındadır.

Abstract
In this research, the opinions of school administrators about the problems encountered by foreign students in their adaptation to school and suggestions for solutions to the problems were applied. The study group of the research consists of 15 school administrators working in official schools with foreign students in Sinanpaşa district of Afyonkarahisar province and Çifteler districts of Eskişehir province. An 8-question semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. The data were analyzed by content analysis. The results reached in the light of the findings are as follows: The lack of sufficient knowledge of Turkish by foreign students is at the root of all the problems that make it difficult for them to adapt to school. It has been concluded that there are also problems in academic success, social acceptance, making friends, adapting to the school's culture and parent communication. It has been concluded that no studies have been carried out in schools to facilitate the adaptation of foreign students to school, but some schools have carried out guidance activities and parent information. The general recommendation for solving the adaptation problems experienced is to solve the Turkish language problem. It is one of the results reached that supporting their participation in social and sports activities will benefit in solving adaptation problems.
