Abstract
Kafkaslara açılan kapı olarak da bilinen Kars; savaş, göç, ticaret gibi nedenlerden dolayı birçok uygarlığa ev sahipliği yapmış ve geleneksel giysi çeşitliliğine sahip illerimizden bir tanesidir. Bölgede Kafkas kadın giysileri çoğunlukla Kafkasya’dan Anadolu’ya yerleşen çeşitli topluluklar tarafından kullanılmış ve zamanla Kars halkı tarafından benimsenerek çeşitli şekillerde giyinilmiştir.
Önceleri çocukların oyun nesnesi olan geleneksel giysili bebekler, günümüzde daha çok yetişkinlerin ilgi odağı haline gelmiş ve bu giysileri teşhir etmede gösterişli bir araç görevini üstlenmiştir. Bu araçlardan bir tanesi olma adayı olan kadın “Kafkas Bebeği” ile Türk geleneksel giysi kültürünün bir parçası olan Kafkas giysilerini, ulusal ve uluslararası alanda; yaşatmak, tanıtmak ve gelecek nesillere aktarmak hedeflenmiştir. Bu hedefler doğrultusunda Kars ilinde, Arkeoloji ve Etnografya Müzesi envanter kayıtları, fotoğraf arşivleri incelenmiş, alan araştırmaları, çeşitli literatür taramaları yapılıp elde edilen bulgular ışığında tasarım, teknik çizim ve üretim yapılmıştır. Çalışmada Kars ilinin kültürel ürünü olarak meydana getirilmeye çalışılan geleneksel giysili kadın “Kafkas Bebeği”nin giysi parçaları ve tamamlayıcı aksesuraları detaylandırılmıştır. Ayrıca üretilen bu bebeklerin kültürel özelliklerinin yanı sıra; form-biçim, doku, renk, süsleme gibi tasarım özellikleri de incelenmiştir.

Abstract
Kars, also known as the gateway to the Caucasus; It is one of our provinces that has hosted many civilizations due to reasons such as war, migration and trade and has a variety of traditional clothing. Caucasian women's clothes in the region were mostly used by various communities that settled in Anatolia from the Caucasus, and over time they were adopted by the people of Kars and dressed in various ways.
Traditionally dressed dolls, which were previously children's play objects, have become the focus of attention of adults today and have taken on the task of a flashy tool in displaying these clothes. The "Caucasian Doll", which is a candidate to be one of these tools, and the Caucasian clothes, which are a part of the Turkish traditional clothing culture, in the national and international arena; It is aimed to keep alive, promote and transfer to future generations. In line with these goals, the inventory records of the Archeology and Ethnography Museum, photograph archives were examined, field studies, various literature reviews were made and design and production were made in the light of the findings obtained in Kars province. In the study, the clothing pieces and complementary accessories of the traditionally dressed female "Caucasian Doll", which is tried to be created as a cultural product of Kars province, are detailed. In addition to the cultural characteristics of these babies produced; Design features such as form-form, texture, color and ornament were also examined.
