Abstract
“Kemânî Sarkis Efendi’nin Rast Eserleri Örnekleminde Kanto Formu Üzerine Bir İnceleme” isimli bu araştırma; Giriş kısmından sonra Türk Mûsikîsi’nde Form Kavramı ve Kanto Formu, Rast Makamı Hakkında Genel Bilgiler ile Kemânî Sarkis Efendi’nin Hayatının ele alındığı ilk bölüm ile sonrasında Bulgular ve Yorum kısmı dâhilinde araştırılan eserlerin makam ve form analizlerinin yapıldığı ikinci bölüm ile devam etmektedir. Çalışmanın son bölümü olan sonuç kısmında veriler paralelinde bir takım tespitlere yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada Türk Mûsikîsi bünyesinde bestelenen kantoların yeri, Kemânî Sarkis Efendi örnekleminde incelemeye alınmıştır. Bu paralelde söz konusu formun nasıl bir müzikal kimliğe sahip olduğu sorusuna yanıt aranmış ve Türk Mûsikîsi dâhilindeki varlığı üzerine çeşitli sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
This researh titled “An Investigation on Kanto Form in the Sample of Rast songs of Kemânî Sarkis Efendi” ,after the introduction part, the first part includes the concept of form in Turkish Music, the Kanto Form, general information about the Rast Magam and the life of Kemani Sarkis Efendi. The second part includes findings and interpretations and it continues with the maqam and form analyzes of the researched works. In the conclusion, which is the last part of the study, some determinations are given in parallel with the data. In the research, the place of cantos composed in Turkish Music is examined in the sample of Kemânî Sarkis Efendi. In this paralell, An answer was sought to the question of what kind of musical identity this form has. Various conclusions have been reached on its existence in Turkish Music.
