Abstract
Sanayi devrimiyle yaşanan değişimler, 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından bu yana, elektronik ve dijital yapılarla farklı bir sürece girmiştir. Her dönem, algıları ve üretim şekillerini değiştiren teknolojinin, sanatçıları etkilemesi de kaçınılmazdır. Teknolojiden yararlanma, endüstriyel malzeme kullanma konusunda günümüz sanatının önemli isimlerinden, Hint asıllı İngiliz heykeltıraş Anish Kapoor, teknoloji sanatçı ilişkisi açısından, postmodern sürecin lirik temsilcisidir. Kapoor’ un, ‘An Identity Engine’ adını verdiği ve üretimini gerçekleştirdiği ‘Kimlik Makinesi’, sanatsal ifade aracı olarak üç boyutlu yazıcı teknolojisi kullanımına güncel bir örnektir. Sanatçı, form üretmek için bir makine yapmayı planlamış ve Adam Lowe’ la birlikte, üç yıllık çalışmanın sonunda 2009 yılında, beton yazan bir yazıcı geliştirerek otomatik üretime başlamıştır. Yazıcıdan çıkan formlar, bilgisayar ortamında tasarlanmış, çeşitli ölçek ve şekilde, kıvrımlı, dokulu betonlardır. Makineden çıkan bu formların, her biri palet üzerine yığılır ve birçok parça bir araya getirilerek yerleştirmeler yapılır. Makalede Anish Kapoor’ un kendi yaptığı üç boyutlu beton yazıcı ve el değmeden, tamamen bu makineyle, otomatik ürettiği çalışmaları, sanatçının eserleri arasındaki yeri, incelenecektir.

Abstract
The changes experienced with the industrial revolution have entered a different process with electronic and digital structures since the second half of the 20th century. It is inevitable that technology, which changes perceptions and production patterns in every period, affects artists. Anish Kapoor, an Indian-born English sculptor, who is one of the most important names in the use of technology and industrial materials, is the lyrical representative of the postmodern process in terms of technology-artist relationship. The "Identity Machine", which Kapoor has named and produced as "An Identity Engine", is an up-to-date example of the use of three-dimensional printer technology as an artistic expression tool. The artist planned to build a machine to produce forms, and with Adam Lowe, at the end of three years of work, he started automatic production in 2009, developing a printer that wrote concrete. The forms that come out of the printer are curved, textured concrete designed in a computer environment, in various scales and shapes. Each of these forms coming out of the machine is stacked on the pallet and many pieces are put together and installations are made. In the article, the three-dimensional concrete printer made by Anish Kapoor and the works produced automatically with this machine, and its place among the works of the artist, will be examined.
