Abstract
Kerbelâ Mersiyeleri Hz. Hüseyin’in trajik bir şekilde şehit edilmesini ve bu elim hadiseye duyulan derin üzüntüyü anlatan şiirlerdir. Bunlardan bazıları ezgiyle okunagelmiştir ve hâlâ okunmaktadır. Âşık Veysel de ezgiyle Kerbelâ Mersiyesi okuyanlardan biridir. Edib Harâbî’nin yazdığı Kerbelâ Mersiyesini alarak sazıyla çalıp söylemiş ve bunun ses kaydı yapılmıştır. Yazılı kaynaktaki şiir ile okunan şiir arasında farklar vardır. Bu çalışmada Âşık Veysel’in okuduğu şiirin orjinalinden farkları incelenmiştir. Şiirde meydana gelen değişikliğin sebep ve sonuçları da ele alınmıştır.

Abstract
Kerbelâ Dirges are poems about the tragically martyrdom of Hüseyin and the deep sorrow for this sad event. Some of these have been read with melody and are still being read. Aşık Veysel is one of those who read Kerbelâ Mersiye with melody. He took the Kerbelâ Mersiye written by Edib Harâbî and played it with his instrument and his voice was recorded. There are differences between the poem in the written source and the poem read. In this study, the differences of the poem read by Âşık Veysel from the original were examined. The causes and consequences of the change in poetry are also discussed.
