Abstract
Türkiye’de ağız ve diş sağlığı hizmetlerinin sunumunda özel sektörün büyük bir rolü vardır. Ağız ve diş sağlığı hizmeti sunan özel sağlık kuruluşları diğer sağlık kuruluşları gibi ekonomik amacı olan örgütlerdir. Dolayısıyla profesyonel anlamda yönetilmeleri önem arz etmektedir. Bu kuruluşların yönetiminden mesul müdür adı verilen bir diş hekimi/uzman diş hekimi sorumludur. Bu çalışmada ulusal alanyazında daha önce yer verilmemiş olan mesul müdürlük kavramı yönetsel açıdan bir çerçeve içerisinde ele alınmış, hukuki alt yapısı ile ağız-diş sağlığı hizmeti sunan özel sağlık kuruluşlarının organizasyon yapıları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

Abstract
The private sector has a large share in the provision of oral and dental health services in Turkey. Health institutions that provide oral and dental health services are organizations with an economic purpose, like other health institutions. Therefore, it is important that they are managed professionally. A dentist/specialist dentist, called the responsible manager, is responsible for the management of these institutions. In this study, the concept of responsible manager, which has not been included in the national literature before, has been handled in a managerial framework and information about its legal infrastructure and organizational structure of private oral and dental health institutions has been given.
