Abstract
Ok ve yay dönemim en önemli silahlarından olup, bu önem ateşli silahların çıkmasına rağmen yüzyıllarca önemini yitirmemiş, 18. Yüzyılın ortalarına kadar itibarını korumuştur. Bundan çok çok önce baruta dayalı ateşli silahlar icat edilmesine karşın, bu silahların pratik kullanımdan uzak olması, ağır ve doldur boşalt işleminin uzun sürmesi etkisini azaltmıştır. Ne var ki daha sonraları silahların hafiflemesi ve menzilinin artık bir oktan daha uzun hale gelmesi ile daha çok tercih edilir olmuştur. Ateşli silahlar daha çok tercih edilirken, ok ve yay kullanımı o oranda azalmış artık duvardaki yerini almaya başlamıştır. Ancak İslam dünyası için okçuluğa duyulan saygı hiçbir zaman azalmamıştır. Teknolojik gelişmeler silahların yapısını ve kapsamını değiştirmesine rağmen okçuluk maneviyatta ki önemini hep korumuş, barışta dahi saygınlığını yitirmemiştir. Okçuluğa bu değeri katan inanç sistemi içerisindeki değerlerdir. Bir birine benzer olsa da, kırka yakın hadis tespit edilmiştir. Benzer hadislerin olması aslında farklı kişilerin telaffuzundan kaynaklanır ki, hadise ait konuyu daha da güvenilir kılmaktadır.

Abstract
The bow and arrow is one of the most important weapons of my era, despite the importance of firearms for centuries despite the importance of the emergence, has maintained its reputation until the middle of the 18th century. Although gunpowder-based firearms were invented long ago, the fact that these guns were far from practical use and the long duration of heavy and unloaded operation reduced the effect. Later, however, it became more preferable with the weapons being lightened and the range now longer than an arrow. While firearms are more preferred, the use of bows and arrows has decreased at that rate and is now taking its place on the wall. However, respect for archery has never diminished for the Islamic world. Although technological developments have changed the structure and scope of weapons, archery has always maintained its importance in spirituality and has not lost its respectability even in peace. It is the values within the belief system that adds this value to archery. Although similar, forty hadiths were identified. The fact that there are similar hadiths stems from the pronunciation of different people, which makes the subject of the hadith even more reliable.
