Abstract
Bireyde sanat ve estetik değer algısı, kültürel farklılıklara bağlı olarak değişmekle birlikte, evrensel bir olgudur. Güzellik ve estetik kavramları sanatla ilişkilidir. Bu kavramlar bireyin hayatı boyunca iç içe olduğu gibi, yaratıcılığının gelişiminde de etkin bir şekilde yer alır. Aynı zamanda bu kavramlar, bireyin estetik tavır, estetik ve güzellik üzerine duyarlılığını görmesinde bir ölçüt olarak kullanılabilir. Bireyde estetik algının gelişmesinde eğitim önemli faktörlerden biri olarak görülmektedir. Bu durum, onu eğitimde önemle üzerinde durulması gereken bir konu haline getirmektedir. Bu araştırma, çocuk gelişimi bölümü öğrencileri üzerinde yapılan bir uygulamanın, onların estetik farkındalık ve estetik tutumlarını ne düzeyde geliştirdiğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada tek örnekli deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, “Ahi Evran Üniversitesi Çiçekdağı Meslek Yüksekokulu” öğrencileri; örneklemini ise “Çocuk Gelişimi” bölümünde okuyan 23 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Ölçme aracı olarak Budak (2012) tarafından geliştirilen ve 30 soruluk beşli likert tipi “Sanat ve Estetik Değer Tutum Ölçeği” ile araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen “Ürün Değerlendirme Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen verilerin analizinde eşlenik gruplar t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu elde edilen veriler literatür ışığında tartışılarak yorumlanmış ve sonuca dönük bazı öneriler getirilmiştir.

Abstract
Although the perception of art and aesthetic value changes due to universal differences, it is a universal phenomenon. The concepts of beauty and aesthetics are related to art. These concepts, as well as intertwined throughout the life of the individual, take an active part in the development of creativity. At the same time, these concepts can be used as a criterion to see the individual's sensitivity on aesthetic attitude, aesthetics and beauty. Education is seen as one of the important factors in the development of aesthetic perception in the individual. This makes it a topic that needs to be emphasized in education. This research was carried out to determine the level of development of aesthetic awareness and aesthetic attitudes of students in the department of child development. One sample experimental method was used in the study. The universe of the research was carried out by the students of Ahi Evran University Çiçekdağı Vocational High School and the sample consisted of 23 students studying in the “Child Development” department. Art and Aesthetic Value Attitude Scale which has five-point Likert type including 30 questions developed by Budak (2012) and Product Assessment Form developed by researchers was used as an assessment instrument. Conjugate groups t test was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the research. The data obtained from the research were discussed and interpreted in the light of the literature and some suggestions were made.
