Abstract
El sanatları, insanoğlu var olduğundan beri doğa şartlarına bağlı olarak ortaya çıkmış ve her dönemin ihtiyacına göre değişiklikler göstermiştir. İlk örnekleri insanların ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak, örtünmek ve korunmak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Anadolu kültürünün önemli bir öğesi olan daha sonra gelişerek çevre şartlarına göre değişimler gösteren el sanatları, ortaya çıktığı toplumun duygularını, sanatsal beğenilerini ve kültürel özelliklerini yansıtır. Bu sanat eserleri, zaman içinde kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılmış ve daha da zenginleşerek geleneksel özelliğini kazanmıştır. Bu çalışmadaki amaç, Türk el sanatları içinde önemli yeri olan iğne oyalarının giderek azalması nedeni ile tespit edilmesi böylece gelecek kuşaklara aktarılması, tanıtılması için incelenerek araştırılmasıdır. Bu amaçla Elmadağ ilçesinde iğne oyası ile ilgilenen bireylerle iletişime geçilmiş, yöredeki yapılan iğne oyası örnekleri fotoğraflarla tespit edilmiş, özellikleri kayıt altına alınmıştır.

Abstract
Handicrafts have emerged due to the natural conditions since the existence of human beings and have changed according to the structure of each period. The first examples were given with the aim of meeting the needs of people, covering them and protecting them. Handicrafts, which are an important element of Anatolian culture, have developed and changed subsequently according to environmental conditions. They reflect the feelings, artistic tastes and cultural characteristics of the society in which it emerges. These art works have been transferred from generation to generation in time and gained their traditional characteristics by becoming richer. The aim of this work is to detect the gradually decreasing needle embroidery, which has an important place Turkish handicrafts. In this way, needle embroideries are transferred and introduced to future generations by examing and researching. For this purpose, some people, who are interested in needle embroidery in Elmadağ district, have been contacted. The samples of needle embroideries, which have been made in the region, were detected by photographs, their properties were recorded.
