Abstract
Sanayi devrimiyle birlikte artan küresel kalkınma hareketi birçok ülkede üretimin başlamasını ve artmasını sağlamıştır. Artan üretim iktisadi anlamda olumlu gözükse de üretimin çevre üzerinde olumsuz etkileri de ciddi şekilde görülmeye başlanmıştır. Özellikle üretimin üst seviyeye gelmesi kirliliğin küresel boyuta ulaşmasına neden olmuştur. Turizm sektöründe yapılan faaliyetler de kirlilik seviyesinin artmasına neden olan sektörlerden birisi olmuştur. Doğal, yapay ve sosyal çevre üzerinde çeşitli kirlilikler ortaya çıkmakla birlikte son dönemlerde ses kirliliği de çevre üzerinde olumsuzluk yaratan bir etken olarak turistik destinasyonlarda görülmeye başlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda trafikten, eğlence mekanlarından, rekreatif etkinliklerden ve diğer turistik faaliyetlerden meydana gelen yüksek ses bu kirliliği oluşturmuştur. Yapılan bu araştırma ile Bodrum bölgesine seyahat eden yerli turistlerin bölgenin ses kirliliği hakkındaki algılarının ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda Bodrum’u ziyaret eden yerli turistlerle görüşme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Turistlerden elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiş ve Bodrum’da meydana gelen sesin bir kirlilik oluşturduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
With the industrial revolution, the increasing global development movement has led to the start and increase of production in many countries. Although increasing production seems to be econmically positively positive, the negative effects of production on the environment have started to be seen. Especially in the top-level production caused to reach the global pollution. Activities in the tourism sector have also been one of the sectors causing the pollution level to increase. In this context, the high volume of traffic, entertainment venues, recreational activities and other tourist activities has created this pollution. The aim of this research is to reveal the perceptions of the local tourists traveling to the Bodrum region on the noise pollution of the region. In this context, a qualitative interview was conducted with local tourists visiting Bodrum. The data obtained from the tourists were analyzed and it was concluded that the sound occurring in Bodrum formed a pollution.
