HABER YAZMA KURALLARININ İHLALİ VE YAZIM YANLIŞLARI ÜZERİNE (BİNGÖL GAZETESİ ÖZELİNDE BİR İÇERİK ANALİZİ)

Abstract
Günümüzde, iletişim teknolojilerindeki baş döndürücü gelişmeler habere ulaşmayı kolaylaştırdığı gibi bazı sorunları da beraberinde getirmiştir. Haberi hızlı vermek adına doğruluktan vazgeçmek, haber kaynağını belirtmeden haber yazmak gibi yanlışlıkların yanında haber yazımında yapılan en önemli yanlışlardan birini de hiç şüphesiz yazım ve noktalama hataları oluşturmaktadır. Bu durum, bazen haberi hızlı yazıp diğer yayın organlarından önce vermek adına yapılırken bazen de tamamen bu kuralları bilmemekten kaynaklanmaktadır. Her ne sebeple olursa olsun ciddi bir dikkat gerektiren haber yazımı, kurallara uygun şekilde yazılmadığı takdirde; bilgi verme işlevinden çok hatayı yaydığı için toplumu yanlışa sürüklemiş olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Bingöl ilinde yayın yapan Bingöl Gazetesi’nin manşetlerinin haber, yazım ve noktalama açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ele alınan haberler ilk olarak biçimsel olarak incelenmiş daha sonra ise haber yanlışı olarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, Bingöl Gazetesinin 1 Mayıs- 31 Mayıs 2017 yayın aralığında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bunun yanında araştırmaya sadece manşetler dâhil edilmiş, iç sayfalar çalışma dışı bırakılmıştır. Çünkü manşetler gazetelerin vitrini ve gazeteyi sattıran unsurdur. Bu açıdan bakıldığında manşetlerde yapılan bir hata okuyucunun zihninde daha da olumsuz bir izlenim oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca gazete pazar günleri yayınlanmamaktadır. İçerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenen haberlerde toplamda 14 haberde hata bulunmuştur. Ama bu durum aynı oranda hata olduğunu göstermemektedir. Çünkü bazı haberlerde birden fazla hata yapılmıştır. Toplamda 14 manşette 25 hata bulunmaktadır. Haberlerin birçoğunda 2, bazılarında ise 3 ya da 4 hata bulunmaktadır. İnceleme sonucunda, Bingöl Gazetesi’nin haber, yazım ve noktalama kurallarına çok uymadığı, haber cümlelerinde anlatım bozuklukları yaptığını, kısacası manşetlere gereken önemi vermediği gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
Today, dazzling developments in communication technologies facilitate reaching the news but also bring about several problems. In addition to waiving integrity and writing news without indicating its source just for passing the news quickly, one of the most important mistakes in writing news is undoubtedly represented by typing and punctuation errors. This, in some cases, is made for the sake of writing and making the news fastly before other press organs whereas in some cases it just results from not knowing those rules. If news writing which requires a great attention for any reason whatsoever, is not performed in accordance with the rules, it misleads the society rather than providing information for the society, since it disseminates the mistakes. In this study, it was aimed for examining headlines of newspapers published in the province of Bingöl with regard to the news, typing and punctuation. In line with this objective, the news handled was first examined stylistically and then it was handled as a news error. The study was carried out between publishing period of Bingöl Newspaper covering the period of 1 May – 31 May 2017. In addition, only the headlines were included in the study, while inner pages were excluded. This was because headlines are the showcases of the newspapers and are the elements that sell the newspaper. From this point of view, any errors in the headlines create more negative impressions in the minds of the readers. Moreover, the newspaper is not published on sundays. In content analysis of the news, in total in 14 news items were errors found. However, this does not show that they all had the same rates of error. Because there were more than one error in some of the news. There were 25 errors in 14 headlines in total. In many of the news items, there were 2 errors, and 3 or 4 errors in some of them. As a result of the study, it was concluded that Bingöl Newspaper did not comply with typing and punctuation rules, caused incoherency in news texts, in short it did not attach required importance to the headlines.
