Abstract
Gerek iki yıllık gerekse dört yıllık bölümlerde okuyan moda tasarım öğrencileri eğitim gördükleri süreç boyunca mesleki olarak teorik ve uygulamalı dersler almaktadırlar. Bu süreçte öğrenciler her ne kadar entelektüel bakış açısına sahip olurlarsa ortaya koydukları çalışmalar da o derecede özgün ve ilginç olacaktır. Eğitim aldıkları süre içerisinde derslerde tasarımlarını iki veya üç boyutlu çizimlerle veya üretimini yapıp görsel olarak gerçekleştiren öğrenciler, bu çalışmalarını sergi veya defile düzenleyerek başkalarına sunma imkânı bulmaktadırlar. Sergilerde ve defilelerde aldıkları geri dönütlerin ise öğrencinin akademik başarısına pozitif etkisi olduğu söylenebilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, moda tasarım ön lisans öğrencilerinin açmış oldukları sergi ve düzenledikleri defilenin kişisel gelişimlerine ne derecede katkısı olduğunu belirlemektir. Çalışmanın evrenini Uşak Üniversitesi Ulubey Meslek Yüksekokulu Moda Tasarım programında 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenim gören ikinci sınıf 22 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma bir araştırma makalesi olup, öğrencilere sorulan 13 önerme ve 1 açık uçlu sorudan oluşmaktadır. Sonuçlar frekans ve yüzdeleri dikkate alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri 2 sene içerisinde aldıkları derslerden çıkarmış oldukları sergi ve defilenin kişisel özelliklerine pozitif etkisi olduğu söylenebilir. Bu bağlamda öğrencilerin hepsi derslerin en zevkli tarafı olarak açtıkları sergi ve defile gösterimlerini söylemişlerdir. Ayrıca öğrenciler bu tarz organizasyonların mesleki kariyerlerine pozitif etkisi olduğunu düşünmekteyken, yapılan çalışmaların estetik değer ve yaratıcılık açısından da faydalı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

Abstract
Fashion design students, studying for two years or four years, take vocational theoretical and applied courses during their education. In this period, even if students have an intellectual point of view, the studies that they reveal will also be original and interesting at that point. Students who make designs in two or three-dimensional drawings or produce visuals in the course of their education, have the opportunity to present these works to others by exhibiting or fashioning them. It can be said that the feedback they receive in exhibitions and fashion shows is a positive influence on the academic success of the student. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the exhibitions and fashion shows that vocational school students revealed on their personal improvement. The universe of this study is 22 fashion design program students at second class that were studying in 2016-2017 academic year at Uşak University vocational school of Ulubey. This study is a research paper and consists of 13 propositions and 1 open ended question asked to the students. The results were evaluated considering the frequency and percentages. As a result of the study, it was seen that exhibitions and fashion that students presented within 2 years learning program, had a positive influence on their personal characteristics. In this context, all of the students told the exhibitions and fashion shows they opened as the most enjoyable side of the lessons. Moreover, while students think that such organizations have a positive effect on their professional careers, they also point out that the work done is also beneficial in terms of aesthetic value and creativity.
