Abstract
Çalışmada, Ali b. Hüseyin el Amâsi’nin ( ?- 1470) ailede ve okulda eğitim, öğretmenin ve öğrencinin özellikleri, eğitim-öğretim yöntemleri, çocukluk döneminde bireyin hayatında eğitimin yeri ve önemi ile sıbyan mekteplerinin özellikleri, söz konusu mekteplerde verilmekte olan dersler gibi konular hakkında yazarın görüşleri tespit edilerek yaşadığı dönemin eğitimine katkısı ve günümüz eğitim anlayışına yansımaları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, yazarın eğitim ile ilgili düşüncelerini ortaya çıkarabilmek için özellikle tamamıyla eğitim içerikli olan Tarîku’l Edeb adlı eseri çalışmanın odak noktasını oluşturmuştur. Amâsi, öğrenci merkezli, öğrencinin gelişim özelliklerine uygun eğitim-öğretim yöntemleri ile bütün öğrencilerin başarılı olabileceğini savunmuştur. Ona göre öğrencilerin başarılı olmasında en büyük etken öğretmendir. Eğer öğretmen öğrencisini tanır, eğitim sürecinde ona etkin bir rehberlik sunarsa öğrenci başarılı olabilir. Bu yüzden velilerin çocuklarını tecrübeli ve ahlaklı öğretmenlere teslim etmesini tavsiye etmektedir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak, belgesel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yazarın eğitim ile ilgili düşüncelerinin yer aldığı eserler taranmıştır.

Abstract
In this study, it is tried to ascertain Ali b. HUseyin al- Amasi’s (? - 1470) views concerning education in the family and in schools, the characteristics of teacher and student, education and training methods, the place and importance of education in an individual’s life during childhood period and the characteristics of primary schools, lessons that are given in these schools, and to find out the contribution of his time to education and the reflections on current understanding of education. In this context, to reveal the author’s thoughts on education in particular his work named Tarîku'l Edeb contitutes the focal point of the study. Amasi argues that all students can be successful with the education-training methods that are student-centered and appropriate to the developmental characteristics of the student. According to him, teacher is the most important factor in student success. Therefore he recommends that parents should hand over their children to experienced and well-behaved teachers. As a method, documentary screening method is used in research. The works that give place to author’s opinion about education are screened. According to Amasi, the basis of education is family, school and student. The family should raise their children as good moral and collective beneficiaries. Schools should also try to prepare the physical environment and deliver the students to experienced teachers. According to him, if the course is taught according to the level of the student in the class and if it is done again, all the students can be successful.
