The Effect Of Technical, Tactical And Market Values On Success Of The Matches Played At The 2020 Uefa Football Championship

Abstract
This research was conducted to analyze the effects of the technical, tactical and market values of the teams that left with winning and lossing in the 2020 European Football Championship on success.The data collected for the research were obtained from UEFA's official website https://www.uefa.com and https://transfermarkt.com. The competitions covered a total of 35 matches with a winner as a result of which the 90-minute regular time did not end in a draw. SPSS 22 package program was used for statistical analysis of the obtained data. Shapiro - Wilk test was applied to determine whether the data showed normal distribution and it was determined that the data did not show normal distribution. Mann-Whitney U test, which is one of the non-parametric tests, was used to determine the difference between two independent groups in the data that did not show normal distribution. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to determine whether there is a linear relationship between two numerical measurements in line with the specified parameters, and if so, what the direction and severity of this relationship is. The data were given as mean and standard deviation, and the p<0.05 level was considered statistically significant. According to the findings, a statistically significant difference was found between the two groups in terms of goal scored from open play, total pass, short pass, pass in the opponent's field, successful air ball, shot on target, shot in the penalty area and team market value (p<0.05).

Bu araştırma 2020 Avrupa Futbol şampiyonasında galibiyet ve mağlubiyetle ayrılan takımların teknik, taktik ve piyasa değerlerinin başarı üzerindeki etkilerini analiz etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.. Araştırma için toplanan veriler UEFA’nın resmi web sitesi https://www.uefa.com ve https://transfermarkt.com adreslerinden elde edilmiştir. Müsabakalar 90 dakikalık normal süresi berabere bitmemiş olan ve sonucunda bir kazananın olduğu toplam 35 müsabakayı kapsamıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi için SPSS 22 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek için Shapiro - Wilk testi uygulanmış ve verilerin normal dağılım göstermediği tespit edilmiştir. Normal dağılım göstermeyen verilerde bağımsız iki grup arasındaki farklılığı tespit etmek için, non parametrik testlerden Mann-Whitney U testi uygulanmıştır. Belirtilen parametreler doğrultusunda iki sayısal ölçüm arasında doğrusal bir ilişki olup olmadığını, varsa bu ilişkinin yönünü ve şiddetinin ne olduğunu belirlemek için de Pearson korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Veriler ortalama ve standart sapma olarak verilmiş ve istatistiksel olarak p<0,05 düzeyi anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, iki grup arasında açık oyundan atılan gol, toplam pas, kısa pas, rakip sahada pas, başarılı hava topu, isabetli şut, ceza saha içi şut ve takım piyasa değeri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0.05).
