Abstract

Bu çalışmada, sıkılık-esneklik ile performans arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik güçlendirmenin aracı rolü incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 197 turizm sektörü çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Sıkılık-esneklik ile psikolojik güçlendirme boyutlarından anlamlılık ve kontrol algısı arasında orta düzeyde pozitif korelasyon bulunmuştur. Anlamlılık ve kontrol algısı ile iş performansı arasında ki orta düzeyde olumlu ilişki literatür ile uyumludur. Sıkılık-esneklik bileşeni ile çalışanın performans algısı arasında ılımlı pozitif ilişki gözlenmiştir. Regresyon analizi bulgularına göre Sıkılık-esneklik ile iş performansı arasındaki ilişkide psikolojik güçlendirmenin aracı rolü olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, the mediating role of psychological empowerment between tightness-looseness and performance was examined. The sample of the survey is composed of 197 tourism sector employees. A moderately positive correlation was found between tightness-looseness and psychological empowerment dimensions, meaning and control perception. The moderate positive relationship between meaning and control perception and job performance is consistent with the literature. A moderate positive correlation was observed between the tightness-looseness component and the performance perception of the employee. According to the findings of regression analysis, it is concluded that the relationship between tightness-looseness and job performance has an mediating role in psychological empowerment.
