This research study evaluates the efficacy of social media marketing strategies in positively affecting the components of brand equity and in particular brand salience, brand performance, brand imager, judgements, feelings and brand resonance. The research is done in the luxury fashion segment and for this purpose two brands were selected: Burberry and Hermes. Burberry is often labeled as the leader in social media marketing strategies whereas Hermès ranks low in terms of social visibility and engagement. The assumption of the study was that given these opposite social media strategies the brands’ impact on the dimensions of brand equity will be different. The findings from the online survey indicate much stronger brand equity among Burberry’s fans than among Hermes’ fans.

Urban green areas should contribute to the aesthetic beautification of the city and at the same time prevent air pollution. When today's green areas are examined, considering the social and ecological importance of urban ecosystems, which have an important place in human life, "ecosystem services studies", a prominent approach method, has a positive relationship with urban green areas. Urban green spaces such as Central Park in America are excellent examples that meet these needs.</span>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Region as a notion in architecture has its roots in antiquity. However, it began to be widely used when Postmodernism was regarded as the counterpart of Modernism. Unlike Modernism, the regionalist approach primarily revolves around including regional features in design and is opposed to standardization, focusing on society, identity, and place. In time, different movements such as Critical Regionalism and Vernacular Regionalism have also emerged with their distinctive discourses. This essay aims to investigate Regionalism in architectural history regarding its definition, ancient background, and how it is related to the concepts of modernity, identity, society, and place, referring to Critical Regionalism and Vernacular Modernism.</span>

<td>
Preserving the cultural heritage that constitutes the accumulation of the past is a human responsibility. Achieving this awareness of responsibility requires both cognitive and affective development. In order to raise individuals sensitive to cultural heritage in schools; The aim is to teach the culture and give the feeling of being a part of that culture. There is a tendency towards this goal with Ottoman history subjects in the social studies course in the 7th grade. In this context, teaching Ottoman history is a tool for raising individuals sensitive to cultural heritage. The intellectual images of teachers and teacher candidates regarding teaching are a point that must be questioned in order to achieve the goal. For this reason, in the research, 'The role of Ottoman history teaching in developing sensitivity to cultural heritage' was examined through the thoughts of social studies teacher candidates. The study, shaped by the case study pattern, one of the qualitative research methods, was conducted with 51 social studies teacher candidates studying at the Faculty of Education in the 2022-2023 academic year. Research data was collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. The data was analyzed and interpreted using descriptive analysis and word cloud analysis methods. According to the research results; From the perspective of teacher candidates, the 'political, memorization and boring' aspects of teaching Ottoman history in the context of sensitivity to cultural heritage are seen as an obstacle to achieving the goals. It does not seem possible for teachers with these prejudices to fully focus on the goal and plan lessons targeting achievements.

The concept of design involves the process of translating environmental phenomena, events, or problems into visual foundations and developing these foundations. With rapidly changing global conditions, there has been an increasing demand for various design products by individuals. The accumulation of knowledge and experience from the past, coupled with creative thinking, enables the emergence of different designs through the utilization of new materials. This research entails the creation of an original design using various materials. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, and data are collected through two different methods. Firstly, a problem-based design research is conducted, supplemented by a questionnaire survey. In the process of problem-based design research, a design is developed for children's living spaces, specifically their rooms, where they play, live, sleep, and learn. The aim of this study is to design a functional and aesthetic product in these living spaces, with the objective of teaching responsibilities through play. To ensure that daily responsibilities are not forgotten, a wall panel is designed, thus encouraging children to remember the tasks they need to fulfill. This wall panel symbolizes the process of falling asleep as children complete their responsibilities at bedtime, serving as a motivational source for task completion. As they complete their tasks, children will observe the LED lights dimming. The product is designed to evoke a sense of happiness in children as these small lights go out, making it an indispensable, functional, and aesthetic product, especially for early childhood education. The questionnaire survey was conducted in a primary and middle school in the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep province, with a total of 248 students participating, to obtain an assessment of the designed product. According to the results of the research, it is observed that the designed product has a positive impact on people's character and behavior and contributes to their success in social life. This study demonstrates that design can provide positive contributions to human life and that functional aesthetic designs can appeal to different segments of society.

<tr>
<td>
The cartoon and animation industry has been undergoing a significant transformation process in recent years with the rapid development of technology. One of the most striking features of this evolution is the increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into character design and development. AI offers innovative approaches that radically change the way characters are designed, developed and interact. AI has the potential to reshape narrative structures, strengthen inter-character relationships and streamline production processes. In particular, the possibilities offered by AI to enrich creative processes, facilitate nuanced character behaviors, and encourage personalized audience experiences are remarkable. By considering current practices and future trends, this study highlights the transformative power of AI in the animation industry and offers valuable insights into its implications for creators, audiences, and a broad spectrum of digital storytelling. Beyond streamlining the animation process, AI integration gives characters a depth and adaptability of interaction that was previously unattainable. AI is able to realistically simulate characters' emotional expressions, gestures and even speech patterns, enabling viewers to connect more deeply with the characters. In this respect, AI can make the behavior of characters within stories more predictable and consistent. The integration of AI into the cartoon and animation industries has the potential to revolutionize these fields. The effects of AI on character design and storytelling are dramatically improving the creative processes and audience experiences in the industry, with profound and lasting implications for the future of cartoons and animation. This paper aims to explore in detail how the integration of artificial intelligence is having a multifaceted impact on the animation and cartoon industries.

The relationship between the art of cinema and technological changes has been ongoing since its invention. The recent history has witnessed radical changes, such as the changes in movie theaters and shooting techniques during the transition from silent cinema to sound films. Nowadays, movies can be accessed through streaming platforms on the date they are released, without going to movie theaters, and many productions choose this option for their movies on these platforms. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a decrease in the rate of experiencing both animated and conventional films in movie theaters. In order to explain this situation, the article divided the box office revenue rates of the last eight years, taken from the internet source "Box Office Mojo", which is considered the most reliable in the world, into pre-pandemic and post-pandemic, and aimed to convert the four-year change processes “into statistical data and show them on graphs. In direct proportion to this situation, the total revenues of the five most widely used online data streaming platforms over the last four years were graphed with a similar method and the results were shared as the findings of the research.

<tbody>
<tr>
<td>
This review paper explores the application of Developmental Intergroup Theory (DIT) to the study of leadership development in children. DIT posits that social categorization is actively constructed through cognitive development and social experiences, shaping children's intergroup attitudes and behaviors. By examining leadership through the lens of DIT, the insights into how social identity, group membership, and psychological, perceptual salience influence the emergence of leadership qualities and behaviors in childhood could be gained. The paper discusses how children distinguish leaders based on observable cues, form cognitive categories for leaders and followers, and develop stereotypes associated with these roles. The unique aspects of leadership from an intergroup perspective are highlighted, including power differentials, social hierarchies, and the potential to perpetuate or challenge inequalities. To advance developmental intergroup perspectives on leadership, the paper suggests considering cultural contexts, longitudinal designs, intersectionality, practical applications, and methodological diversity. Integrating DIT with empirical findings on leadership can deepen our understanding of how children become leaders and how their leadership styles are shaped. Cultivating effective and inclusive leadership skills in children through evidence-based interventions and educational programs is emphasized as a means to promote their well-being and future success.

The Effort of National Identity to Separate Cultural Unity: The Case of Sari Gelin Folk Song

The cultural integrity formed by the representations of sharing the joys and sorrows of societies has the characteristics of the identity of those societies. By examining this cultural accumulation of society, woven with characteristic codes, it is easy to find information about its affiliation. Turks, who have lived together with many societies throughout history, are one of these societies. Due to their geographical richness and coexistence with various nations in the regions where they live, Turks who have made their homelands all over the world share a common cultural wealth. The interaction of these nations with each other has determined the current state of the culture, and this culture is characterized by commonality, regardless of the proportion.
With the invention of writing, the process of recording cultural memory has begun, and from that point on, identification problems have arisen. The reason for this phenomenon is that although the geographical provenance of the artifacts is known or can be presumed, the inhabitants of the same geographical area share a common lifestyle and thus a common set of products. The geographies determined and claimed as a result of political struggles are the physical living and governing spaces of societies. Within these geographical boundaries, members of different societies live together for a variety of reasons and interact in a multitude of ways in every aspect of social life.
The Sarı Gelin Folk Song, which is presented as an attempt to ownership, identification, and even the usage of it as evidence in political debates for political reasons, is a good example of the problem the study for providing a good example of this situation.
The study aims to create the idea that cultural products belonging to the geographies where societies live together should not be subjected to geographical naming efforts and that cultural region definitions should be made more clear by taking into account the meaning and structural characteristics of these products.
In the research, using the qualitative data collection method, the sources related to the subject were reviewed and a descriptive approach was employed.
The main idea revealed in the findings and conclusion sections is that although the culture of the society living in a certain geography is shaped by time and interactions after the commonalities in the historical process, it is not sufficient to rely solely on the geographical name in the naming process.

A Review on the Approaches and Criteria Regarding the Determination of Poverty

<tr style="height: 234.6px;">
<td style="width: 1758.81px;" width="480">
It is seen that the stages of measuring poverty include defining poverty, determining poverty criteria, identifying problems related to poverty measurement and evaluating measurement results, after the approach to poverty is presented. There is no consensus in the literature on defining poverty, which is one of these stages. It is understood that a similar situation exists in studies on determining the poverty line and that many factors are effective in determining the poverty line. Poverty line functions as an important concept in studies on poverty in terms of making comparisons between countries or within the same country, distinguishing between poor people and those who are not, and determining who are poor in the total population. Approaches to determine poverty come into prominence in the literature as Absolute Poverty Approach, Relative Poverty Approach and Capacity Poverty Approach.
It is seen that poverty measurement methods are carried out using some indices shaped in line with the approaches mentioned above. If an income-based approach is adopted, one-dimensional measurement methods based on income are used. Social scientists, who adopt approaches that are critical of measuring poverty only through income/expenditure criteria, argue that a multidimensional concept such as poverty can only be determined by using multidimensional or composite poverty measurement methods that measure human poverty, gender, time, and consumption. It is understood that the income-based monist approach initially seen in the measurement of poverty, is being criticized day by day, the measurement of poverty has become multi-component and new dimensions are added to the measurement of poverty every day. If there will be differentiation depending on the development levels of countries soon, it can be predicted that new dimensions such as access to technology, qualified consumption, spending quality time, having free time, and qualified housing will be added to the measurement of poverty.

He is known for his reproductions and installations based on the appropriation of cinema and photography in the 1990s. In his early work, Huyghe mobilizes a collective consciousness based on human relationships, allowing for a transitivity between art and life. These works relate to the experience of people and time rather than the experience of space. After the 2000s, the artist has tried to make visible the struggle for the transformation of non-human life forms by reproducing them with simulation-based technologies. Huyghe's projects are not about copying the existing biological and ecological system, but about the establishment of new self-consistent systems. Therefore, this study will try to investigate Pierre Huyghe's art practices that include time, memory and natural systems and are open to new possibilities.</span>

The replacement of scholastic thought with positive scientific thought provided the liberation of art at some point. The Mannerist, Baroque, Rococo and Classical periods, which followed the Renaissance period, enabled the art of painting to acquire new styles. Depending on the new stylistic experiments, the production of works has guided the artists to search for a more creative and original form language. While the Modern period in art enabled artists to create their own unique and extraordinary language of form, they also carried traces of their own lives. Modern art, which is an interpreter of the independent thoughts of artists, has contained many art movements within itself. Impressionism, Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Constructivism, Suprematism, Dada, Surrealism are artistic understandings that provide evidence that pictorial expression has changed over time. Impressionism, which takes the artist out of the workshop, Fauvism, which develops a wild approach in art, Expressionism, where artists leave the outer world and turn to their inner world, Cubism, which proves a new way of seeing, Futurism, which emphasizes the movement, Constructivism, which forms the form for a thought or concept, Dada were art movements that questioned and questioned art again, and Surrealism, revealing the traces of the subconscious. The works that emerged in line with these movements showed that art has diversity. The works of the modern period, in which subjectivity comes to the fore, created a striking effect and formed the basis of Postmodern Art and Contemporary Art, which will come after it. The aim of this study is to examine the works from a formal point of view in line with the aforementioned art movements and to examine the art of the modern period in the light of different perspectives. A descriptive scanning model, one of the qualitative research techniques, was used in the research, data was collected by written and visual literature review, and analyzed using the content analysis technique.</span>

The research was conducted with the phenomenology model, one of the qualitative research methods. 10 special education teachers working in private education institutions in various districts of Istanbul were included in the research. Criterion sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods, was preferred in determining the participants. A semi-structured interview form of the interview technique, one of the qualitative data collection techniques, was used to collect the data. The semi-structured interview form was developed by the researcher by reviewing the literature. After deciphering the data, it was analyzed using a descriptive and content analysis strategy. Research results show that participants define inclusive education as students with special needs coming together with their normal peers and receiving education in the least restrictive educational environment and emphasize the importance of individualized education plans. It has been stated that inclusive education is carried out with a student-centered approach and aims to maximize the potential of each student. Additionally, it has been emphasized that inclusive education supports the social and emotional development of students and increases social awareness. However, it has been observed that various issues such as peer bullying, physical and educational fitness problems, and lack of psychological-social support stand out among the difficulties encountered in inclusive classrooms. It was concluded that more effective measures should be taken and inclusive education practices should be developed to overcome these difficulties. </span>

<span style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-bidi; mso-ansi-language: TR; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-no-proof: yes;">There are treatment protocols specific to various approaches to treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to the similar elements emphasized by each approach in treatment, the different aspects increase knowledge about trauma. Elements specific to the treatment provide guidance on how the treatment works, that is, how it affects. When studies in the literature are examined, exposure to traumatic memories constitutes the focus of trauma interventions. When the relevant literature is examined, although there are various exposure approaches, the claims of narrative techniques centering on the story in improving PTSD symptoms in recent trauma interventions come to the fore. In this context, when current treatment approaches in trauma are examined, it is seen that one of the new candidates for narrative interventions is Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), developed by Schauer, Neuner and Elbert in the early 2000s. NET allows multiple traumatic life experiences to be handled within the context of life, based on a chronological narrative of important events in the individual's life. Addressing positive life events in chronological order, as well as single or multiple traumatic experiences, aims to create a perception of integrity in the individual's life. Unlike previous approaches, in this approach, which focuses on creating integrity in the life story, possible change mechanisms (such as conditioned reactions, dissociation, narrative integration, positive memories, emotional processing, negative cognitions) come to the fore. Understanding the treatment elements that affect the development and maintenance of PTSD, that is, the mechanisms that provide change in treatment, is important in explaining an effective treatment outcome. Therefore, this article aims to discuss treatment elements specific to NET, a current approach to the treatment of PTSD, and possible change mechanisms that contribute to change.</span>

The primary objective of this research is to examine the utilization of three-dimensional Metaverse environments that integrate the features of a decentralized internet network and a social communication network from the perspective of societal and personal design. The central problem addressed in this study is understanding how this new technology, which emerged during the transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0, is utilized and the possibilities it offers. This research adopts a literature review methodology, which involves analyzing existing studies and literature on the subject matter. The analysis reveals that three-dimensional virtual worlds are used as social communication platforms, enabling users to represent their identities and establish multifaceted connections. Additionally, it is observed that objects within these virtual worlds are transformed into three-dimensional entities, allowing users to interact with them. The findings of this research demonstrate that three-dimensional virtual worlds present significant opportunities for societal and personal design. This new environment encourages user participation in areas such as interaction, communication, and commerce. By combining the decentralized internet network and the social communication network characteristics brought by Web 3.0, three-dimensional virtual worlds provide a novel realm for experiences and interactions. In conclusion, this research highlights the crucial role of Metaverse environments in societal and personal design. Recommendations include further research in this field, the development of design strategies, and enhancements in user experience. The artistic and critical values of artworks themed around environmental pollution, the reactions of the artists, and the social impacts of these works have been investigated. The study includes detailed analyses of the works of contemporary artists Alejandro Durán and Dmitry Morozov. Durán's "Washed Up" and Morozov's "Dioxide" are examined within the framework of the environmental pollution theme, and the aesthetic, conceptual, and social dimensions of these works are analyzed. The study focuses exclusively on the works of specific artists and therefore does not encompass the responses of a broader range of artists. The findings indicate that the artists' critiques of environmental pollution issues generally carry a strong protest and awareness-raising purpose, and these works are effective in increasing environmental awareness in society. This article highlights the critical role of art in drawing attention to environmental issues and underscores the contributions of artists to environmental sustainability.</span>

Trauma is a common phenomenon that can cause physical and/or psychological distress and that most people experience at least once in their lifetime. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindfulness-based third wave behavioral therapy approach developed by Steven Hayes, Kirk Strosahl and Kelly Wilson. The aim of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is basically a behavioral approach but has a humanistic perspective especially in terms of the therapist-client relationship, is not to change trauma-related thoughts or reduce symptoms like other theories, but rather to aim to reduce psychological rigidity by reducing experiential avoidance, to increase value-based action and quality of life, and to show the individual that they no longer have to struggle with their experiences. In other words, ACT is not interested in changing the individual's thoughts, but focuses on changing the individual's relationship with their thoughts. In this way, it is aimed to prevent the traumatized individual from experiential avoidance of experiences reminiscent of the trauma and cognitive fusion with trauma-related thoughts and to live a life integrated with their values. Research shows that ACT is effective in various clinical problems such as PTSD, depression and anxiety. Especially in studies conducted with trauma victims, it has been revealed that ACT contributes to the reduction of symptoms by increasing psychological flexibility. ACT supports posttraumatic growth by offering a client-centered, collaborative and non-hierarchical approach. This study focuses on the Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy's view of trauma, the therapy process, and research on the effectiveness of the approach.
