The technological and global changes experienced today have made the occupational health and safety sector gain a higher importance. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) developed to ensure the safety of employees may lead to the need for multi-criteria decision making for product selection due to the increase in the number of manufacturers, the increase in companies and product features, and the variability of product features. Within the scope of the research, a case study was conducted to determine the factors affecting the selection decision of the helmets to be purchased for the purpose of occupational safety at the workplace and to present a preference ranking proposal. The 40 best-selling products in the helmet category on Trendyol and Hepsiburada sites were included in the scope of the relevant research. The TOPSIS method was used while making the selection in the application and the results were evaluated by comparing. The results were checked with Python coding for the TOPSIS method. Preference suggestions are presented according to the features of user rating, adding to favorites, number of comments, price, number of comments/user points and price/user points.

Businesses are struggling to set out more effectively thanks to the environmental conditions and technological developments around them. Omnichannel distribution and distribution channels have become increasingly important in the distribution chain, logistics and entire retail industry. At the same time, this distance maintains its importance for tourism, which has a very important place in the service sector. Developments in retail distribution, which is a part of the service sector, will contribute to the delivery of goods and services to users in a healthier and more efficient manner. In this context, businesses that reach customers with a fast and high-quality way that makes a difference in distribution channels can meet the demand flexibly. In this study, tourism businesses that implement omnichannel strategies and distribution channel strategies are discussed from a conceptual perspective. It can be said that the study can create a roadmap for all sectors, and that omnichannel strategies and distribution channel strategies are very important in terms of the sustainability of the operations of the enterprises and customer satisfaction under intense competition conditions

Anthropocentrism and Nature in An Atlas Of Impossible Longing by Anuradha Roy

<tr>
<td>
This paper includes the analysis of <em>An Atlas of Impossible Longing</em> by Indian writer Anuradha Roy from a postcolonial ecocritical perspective. It studies the anthropocentric discursive construction of the contrast between humans and nature by Western culture and Roy’s reflection on the anthropocentric attitude introduced by colonialism and practiced by Indians. Anthropocentrism takes its roots from the idea that rational white western man is free to shape and exploit the non-human world. The subordination of nature in Western culture has become the root of all human dominance; it has been extended to include the dominance of different kinds of races, ethnicities, genders, religions, and classes. Roy portrays the turbulent historical three periods of British rule on the Indian subcontinent extending from 1907 to 1947 and three generations of experiences during these periods from Indians’ perspective. During these periods, British colonialists exploited the land, the environment, and cultural structures of the Indians. They introduced their politics, modern ideas, techniques, industrialization, progress, and capitalism and exported the idea of nature being a discursive product, a resource, a material object. The importance of the pre-colonial idea of nature’s being a sacred place disappeared and the Indians’ cultural ties with it were disrupted. Roy writes a story in which India and the Indian people share a common fate because of anthropocentrism. She presents how western introduced anthropocentrism has moved beyond the problem of separation of human beings and nature to articulate all kinds of exploitations and discrimination.

Maritime, which is the largest structure of the logistics system, has an important place in transportation. It is a difficult and lengthy process to train and recruit employees on ships in maritime transport. The recruitment processes of the personnel working on board should be done by considering many criteria. It is important to know and analyze these criteria well. The most important reason for this is that the personnel working on the ship must work on the ship for a minimum of 6 months, which is the contract period. And it is important to be durable in sea conditions during the long contract period. In terms of cost, personnel changes are an important expense item for companies. The difficulties of ship operation processes, the excessive international maritime rules, the fact that maritime is now taking place in a technological infrastructure, and the good communication between maritime stakeholders made the concept of good personnel important. In this study, the process of maritime companies, which depends on the criteria of personnel selection for ships, was taken into consideration in personnel selection for ships, and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method, one of the multi-criteria decision making methods, was used to solve the problem. In the proposed application, the relative weights of the criteria were determined by AHP method and the numerical solution developed for the personnel selection problem was made by using AHP method.

With digitalization, the internet and network technologies becoming the center of our lives, it has been revealed that the media contents emanating from the mass media have many positive and negative effects in the sociocultural context. Traditional cultures, which have been passed down from generation to generation from the past to the present, have begun to change, degenerate and be forgotten with the influence of mass culture. Before the globalization of communication, it was easier for societies to preserve their own cultures, transfer them to future generations and thus socialize. However, the globalization of communication, as well as the economy, has made culture more complex and mediated the intertwining of both cultures. Today, the media not only disseminates traditional cultures, but also mostly commodified cultures offered by the culture industry. However, the influence of the media on the individual and society has increased day by day, and the power of the media to direct and manipulate the society has increased. At this point, ethics emerges as an important concept that both media managers and digital citizens who are individually content producers should consider. In the article, which is approached from a critical point of view to today's media, culture, cultural industries, internet and network technologies, media and manipulation are discussed. The study was carried out with the document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods.

The aim of this study is to determine the child-rearing styles of parents with preschool children and to examine them in terms of various variables. This study employed the descriptive survey model, one of the quantitative research models. The working group consisted of 532 parents who have children attending preschool education in Çanakkale. Scale for Parents' Child-Rearing Style, developed by Satow (2013) and adapted in Turkish by the researchers, was used as a data collection tool. In the study, descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. In line with the findings obtained; it was determined that the dimensions of love, cooperation with spouse and independence were the most prominent sub-dimensions of the child-rearing styles of parents with preschool children, while the dimensions of religiosity and authority remained in the background. In line with the findings obtained, it was also found that parents' child-rearing styles differed significantly according to their gender (in favor of female parents), educational status and occupation, but not according to their age and the number of children they have. When the findings related to the sub-dimensions of child-rearing styles are taken into consideration, it is seen that there is more difference between women and men especially in the dimension of religiosity compared to other dimensions, women attach more importance to the dimension of religiosity than men; in the dimensions of love, authority and independence, parents' child rearing styles changed in favor of older age groups; in the dimension of cooperation with the school, it is seen that it has changed in favor of parents with only one child.

<tbody>
<tr>
<td>
Abd al-Halim Abd Allah (1913-1970), who is considered among the novelists of the second period, focused on the individual rather than criticizing the Egyptian social structure within the framework of the problematics caused by the political and economic conditions, and emphasized the emotional forms he called 'human situations' in his stories and novels. Although there are those who categorize the author's literary life under the romantic and realistic headings, it is seen that in his other works, except for the novel 'Kıssatun lem Tetim' (1972), he presents emotional forms such as love, revenge and deception in different combinations, and in doing so, he depicts female characters in negative roles. In “Min Ajli Waledî” (For My Son),written in 1957, the author continued this line and pointed to the issue of domination and dependence by modeling the strong and weak roles between husband and wife between mother and son. The helplessness strengthened by domination leads to more attachment, and despite the story that ends with the renunciation of the right to be an individual in order to be accepted, the novel exemplifies that love is the most powerful channel that nourishes the individual. The novel will be analyzed within the framework of the passages that point to these inferences and the mission of Abd al-Halim Abd Allah in the individual's evolution will be pointed out.

<td>
This study aims to understand the contribution of art and cultural activities to social interaction in the context of forced encounters. It is believed that forced encounters can lead people to come into contact with art and culture more frequently and regularly, and thus it can be said that it will increase the interest and participation in artistic activities. In addition, it has been tried to examine the social effects and benefits of compulsory art encounters in public spaces from the perspective of different disciplines. Compulsory art encounters can increase understanding of different cultures, strengthen social solidarity and reduce prejudices. These activities can also help people develop their creativity and innovative thinking skills. In the field of education, it is possible to benefit from the positive effects of art activities on the education of students, and in the context of psychology, the positive effects of people's mental health and emotional state, and from compulsory art encounters in many other fields.
Mandatory art encounters in the public sphere can contribute to the development of a sense of equality and justice and encourage people to participate more in social life. These events can create a wider audience and pool of supporters for artists and designers, while also helping to preserve cultural heritage and pass it on to future generations. As a result, the social effects and benefits of compulsory art encounters are supported by research from different disciplines. Such activities can contribute positively to various aspects of society and pave the way for the formation of a more tolerant, creative, solidarity and egalitarian society. Further research in the future will help us to understand more deeply the effects of forced art encounters on society.

Architectural heritage includes buildings and building groups, the importance of which is understood better day by day as the common value of humanity. This approach, which has also been in contact with architecture and the built environment since the first process it emerged, has also focused on conserving the identity, original values and architectural heritage of cities and slowing down the changes/transformations seen in them, under the meaning of slow city. In these legal studies, many approaches and practices regarding conservation are discussed, and various concepts that will contribute to conservation or establish a mutually beneficial relationship with conservation studies are also detailed. One of the intersection points of these concepts, which include different disciplines such as development and tourism, is the Cittaslow movement.
Cittaslow is based on slowing down various parameters in human life and thus increasing the quality of life. This approach, which has also been in contact with architecture and the built environment since the first process it emerged, has also focused on conserving the identity, original values and architectural heritage of cities and slowing down the changes/transformations seen in them, under the meaning of slow city. In this sense, the Cittaslow charter has been put forward in many ways to contribute to the conservation of the architectural heritage and its proper transmission to future generations. From this point of view, the aim of the study is to contribute to the transfer of this heritage to the future by considering the architectural heritage of Arapgir, which is one of the new settlements in this movement, in Turkey, which includes many settlements included in the Cittaslow movement and has achieved great success in this sense. In this context, the concepts of conservation and Cittaslow are investigated in detail and the current state of the architectural heritage in Arapgir is examined on site. The method of the study consists of on-site observations made in Arapgir and evaluating the data obtained in the context of the criteria for acceptance into the Cittaslow movement, and putting forward suggestions in the light of laws and regulations on conservation. As a result of the study, the positive and developmental aspects of the architectural heritage in Arapgir after being included in the Cittaslow movement were determined and it was aimed to contribute to the conservation by listing the suggestions for these.

Photographically, there are many historical and current image creation methods. One of these methods is the Chlorophyll printing method. Chlorophyll printing is a completely natural and plant-based method. Therefore, it is a very natural alternative image creation approach in terms of environment. Various types of living (not in a dry form) leaves are used instead of photographic paper in chlorophyll printing, and photographic images are created on the leaves with the effect of photosynthesis. In the chlorophyll printing method, the photographic image is created naturally by exposing a positive image taken on transparent acetate, leaving it fixed on the leaves, only with daylight. Extremely aesthetic images are created on the leaves exposed to sunlight. Since chlorophyll is made with natural materials as a printing method, it does not contain any harmful chemicals. For this reason, the method is both a sustainable method as it is convenient and easy in terms of accessibility to the material, and it is a completely natural method in terms of environmental sensitivity as it does not contain chemicals.
This method, which is open to new discoveries and original processes, creates an alternative space for artists and researchers. The findings obtained within the scope of this study will make significant contributions to the existing literature in the context of the use of chlorophyll printing as an artistic production method. In line with the study, the content of the chlorophyll method and the examination of the sample works created by contemporary artists will lead to the expansion of the understanding of image creation as a photographic method.

This study aimed to develop, validate and test the reliability and validity of the Personalized Medicine Inventory (PMI) to assess the knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes of Turkish physicians and physician candidates toward personalized medicine practices. This study has a methodological design for the psychometric testing and validation of the PMI. The study was conducted on medical students and physicians in Istanbul between October 2022 and February 2023. In the first stage of the study, content validity was ensured after writing the scale items and creating the trial form. IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 version package program was used for Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to test construct validity. Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the scale was conducted with R 4.2.2 version. According to the results of EFA, PMI shows a six-dimensional structure with 27 items. The fit indices obtained after first-order CFA (χ2/sd=1,86, CFI=0,91, GFI=0,97, AGFI=0,96, RMSEA=0,07) and second-order CFA (χ2/sd=2.06, CFI=0.90, GFI=0.97, AGFI=0.96, RMSEA=0.08) were acceptable. The item factor loadings of the inventory are between 0.50 and 0.94. As a result of reliability analyses, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was between 0.79 and 0.93 for the inventory subscales. The PMI is a tool with high content validity and internal consistency that has the characteristics to measure the attitudes, perceptions, and knowledge of medical students and physicians toward personalized medicine. The PMI can help determine medical students' and physicians' attitudes, perceptions, and knowledge levels toward personalized medicine. Studies to be conducted with this scale to measure the knowledge, perceptions and attitudes of medical students and physicians towards personalized medicine will reduce the difficulties experienced in personalized medicine.

It is great importance to eliminate the existing problems of urban green areas with the effective design and planning strategies in order to create livable cities. At the same time, increasing the satisfaction of users leads to more preference and active use of green areas, thus revitalizing public spaces and positively increasing urban mobility. Determining the expectations of users from urban green areas and increasing their satisfaction has a direct positive impact on their individual comfort and quality of life. Factors such as the spatial quality, accessibility, quantity and function of green areas determine users' satisfaction with green areas. By focusing on the assessment of user satisfaction in urban green areas in Çanakkale, it aims to provide a detailed user-oriented analysis of the subject and to highlight the factors affecting satisfaction and the implications for urban development. Questionnaires were used as a quantitative research method to collect data and a total of 600 questionnaires consisting of 43 questions were administered in 7 neighborhoods in Çanakkale city. The questionnaires were evaluated in four sections. In the first section, questions were asked to analyze the socio-economic profiles of the users; in the second section, questions were asked to understand the characteristics of the participants' urban green space use. The third part of the questionnaires aimed to evaluate the users' satisfaction with green areas at the city and neighborhood scale, while the fourth part focused on analyzing the users' satisfaction with green areas with different usage purposes according to their age profiles and child ownership. When the results are evaluated, it can be inferred that the level of satisfaction with green areas is not high in general, that the participants find parks poorly maintained, and that they prefer urban parks rather than parks close to their homes. On the other hand, it is concluded that they do not see major problems in terms of accessibility, but they prefer urban parks or larger parks that offer more diverse usage opportunities to small neighborhood parks. The reasons for this dissatisfaction are that neighborhood parks are poorly maintained and do not offer a variety of usage functions for different age groups. The findings of this study are expected to provide clues about the factors that are most important in influencing users' overall satisfaction with urban green areas.

<p class="p2" style="text-align: justify;">Albert Camus is an author who has made significant contributions to existential literature. For Camus, who mirrors his era with his literary and non-fiction works, the most important philosophical problem in the world is whether life is worth living. In order to answer the basic question of philosophy, it is necessary to make a judgment on this issue. The answer to this question activates the connections in Camus’ thought system. The concepts of maladaptive, rebellion and suicide are the common themes of Camus’ works and important components of his thought system. In this system of thought, Albert Camus gives an important place to art at the point of the individual’s opposition to the world. In different works of Camus, art is presented as an important tool of opposition to the incongruous. While Camus mostly made evaluations on literature, he also made determinations on visual and plastic arts, albeit very briefly. For Camus, the basic criterion for a work of art to be an object of rebellion is primarily that it has a style and creates a universe. Diane Arbus is a photographer who came to the forefront with her works especially in the 1960s. Known as the photographer of the Others, Arbus gained an important place in the history of photography, especially with his retrospective exhibition that took place after his death in 1971. In this study, Camus’ basic concepts of life itself and art as a means of rebellion will be used to reveal the portrait of photographer Diane Arbus.

In order to determine the difference of the development between cities,the definition of development and the evaluation of the success in reaching a certain development according to this definition is necessary.In this study made by DPT the definition of “development” notion has been made by several indications selected from economical and social areas.
As this notion is multi-dimension and an abstract term,it is reduced to concrete structure and can be measured by statistic method.As a result of this,the development level of the cities has been defined.The economical development generally measured by income-increase can’t explain the social development completely.So it is accepted as a low-extent data which explains only the demand-increases.The term of the development indicates the economic developments like the physical capacity-increase and income-increases.Besides, it indicates the income groups and the whole which social and economical accumulation are explained.Meanwhile it shows the level of social development.
As a consequence,the topic of this study the socio-economic development contains the term of economical growth which described as the increase of social income for a person.It also contains the structural and all definable social modulations which include the personal development.In this study,socio-economic development of Muş such as population,education,health,economy,industryand agriculture have been analyzed after DPT and so the study has been bruoght to consequence.

Racist Black Representations in Tom and Jerry Cartoons

The characters of Tom and Jerry are fictional animated characters beloved and recognized worldwide, primarily in the United States. Fictional characters not only shape themselves based on the conditions of the society they exist in, but they also influence and shape those very conditions. Although slavery against Black people in American history ended in 1838, its effects persisted through subsequent local discriminatory laws. These discriminatory laws were eventually eliminated in 1964. The societal perception of Black individuals in recent history, when racial discrimination was prevalent, was influenced by this discrimination. The Tom and Jerry animated series, which started production in the United States in 1940, contains numerous examples of this situation. Within the short animated films targeted at children, the representation of Black characters and the transformations these representations underwent are crucial for understanding the approach of the American media to this subject. These historical analyses will also contribute to understanding the heightened sensitivity that developed among African Americans in response to the negative portrayals of their community in the media in the United States.

Understanding these values and accepting the necessity of protection by the society is an important factor in ensuring that cultural and natural heritage assets are preserved and transferred to future generations. Many types of tourism include activities that are instrumental to achieve this at the national and international level. With cultural tourism, people tend to go to places that contain heritages of universal value and to recognize these assets in their original environment. Activities involving cultural tourism, people apply to travel agencies to obtain information about places to go, to provide accommodation and transportation before travelling. In the changing and constantly developing digital world, people's access to service and information is much faster through the web. At this point, online travel agencies provide information from accommodation to travel routes through the web in accordance with this age, and quickly perform reservations. In this study, the contribution of online travel agencies, which are considered as tools for conservation efforts, in presenting ancient cities as cultural heritage assets is examined. In this direction, Antalya, one of Turkey's leading tourism cities, has been chosen as a sample city, taking into account the number of ancient cities it has. A search was made with the keywords "Places to visit in Antalya" on the Google search engine. Evaluation was made according to the criteria determined in the study on the digital environment of ten travel agencies that provide online service in the searches. The data obtained according to the criteria formed from the information obtained from the internationally accepted conventions and regulations on the definition, protection and presentation of ancient cities were evaluated. In the ten online travel agencies examined in the study, information about thirty-two ancient cities, supported by visuals, is given. Visitors who use the online travel agency are given a versatile presentation about the history of the ancient city, the civilizations by which it was founded, the features that make it important and unique, its scientific and aesthetic quality through the ruins of its historical buildings, conservation efforts, the natural beauties in its immediate surroundings and the activities to be done here.

In the 1900s, he re-established the ENT clinic in Gülhane Hospital and trained many students and wrote articles in this field. When we read the 1910 Ottoman Seririyat Journal's article, Doctor Ziya Nuri's "Fec-i Asab-ı Raci' (recurrent nerve palsy) and Ümmü'd-dem-i Ebher (Aortic aneurysm)", we were left in awe and admiration. The information about the etiopathogenesis and treatment of laryngeal recurrent nerve palsy (Ortner's syndrome) due to aortic aneurysm, which is rare even today, was admirable. In order to serve as an example for our colleagues today, we present this article in its original and italic form, in a simplified form and by comparing it with today's literature.

Social change; It is considered as a dynamic phenomenon related to political, economic and social factors, as well as factors such as technological level and population structure. Based on the acceptance of the inevitability of change, all societies are exposed to change. Change can also occur in different areas and at different speeds at different times, as well as in the same areas. While computers, which exist in all areas of life with technological developments, quickly analyze quite complex operations, they are lacking in perceiving and evaluating events and situations and benefiting from experiences, and the human brain differs from computers with this feature. The ability of the human brain to perceive, to use its experiences in life, to classify the information it has and to store it for use when and where it is needed shows that it is superior to computers. Artificial intelligence, which started to act with this reality, is gaining importance. The fact that artificial intelligence applications are the source of change and transformation in society shows that artificial intelligence should be accepted as a social phenomenon. Artificial intelligence causes significant changes in all social structures. Changes in education, health, business life, communication methods and processes trigger and affect each other. Artificial intelligence makes life practical, while building social changes, it becomes important to adapt to the processes that will occur. Societies have to ensure that their institutions function in this direction. Since artificial intelligence develops and becomes widespread in every medium and the change it causes in one area affects different areas, social institutions need to follow the changes other than the changes in their own structures. The development of society is possible with adaptation to these changes and transformations. Artificial intelligence applications not only make life easier, but also increase welfare, and the level of development increases with transformations. The existence of artificial intelligence in all areas of life and feeling its effects are important in terms of making sense of the extent to which this situation causes social change and seeing how the future will be shaped. In this article, it is aimed to evaluate artificial intelligence, which has effects on the whole society, by considering it from the perspective of social change. In this direction, after the social change is mentioned in the study, artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence applications are discussed and artificial intelligence is evaluated from the perspective of social change.

Humankind has continuously developed new techniques to transfer every new knowledge to the next generations. Painting and writing have been the most important media for generations to transfer the knowledge acquired by mankind to the future. The works produced with miniature art have also been important historical documents for Turkish history for centuries. From the 8th century to the 18th century, when Turkish miniatures emerged, although the painters who drew with the art of miniature art preserved their drawing styles to a great extent, a change in style began to be seen in the art of miniature art with the work titled Surname-i Vehbi, whose drawing was completed by Nakkaş Levni in 1730. As of the beginning of the 19th century, the closure of the nakkaşhanes led to the absence of new examples of miniature art. In the early 2000s, in parallel with the development of computer technologies, miniature art style comes to the agenda again and the reflections of miniature style are started to be seen in works containing motion graphics such as movies, animated movies and video clips. In this article, recent works produced by adhering to the miniature art style will be analyzed and the use of miniature art in contemporary art and its possible future uses will be discussed.

This study is about Kierkegaard's God-human relationship. The aim of the article is to contribute to a better recognition and understanding of Kierkegaard. Our research was based on both Kierkegaard's works and secondary sources. Kierkegaard is one of the important thinkers who left his mark on the 19th century in the West. It can be said that he had an important, albeit indirect, contribution to the formation of modern existential philosophy. When his works are examined, it is seen that he is not only engaged in intellectual activity, but also; It is seen that he aims to reach the truth while he is alive. Kierkegaard's world of thought, which attempted to construct a self through God and faith, seems to focus primarily on the relationship between humans and God. According to him, human beings should be in constant existence for the purpose of creating self. A person can only have selfhood through faith. The God-human relationship is not a relationship that the human mind can grasp and build. According to this; man must believe in God with passion and love.

In this article, the subject of presenting collections in digital media as a reflection of contemporary museum understanding has been examined and discussed. Museums have the need to present their collections on online platforms and thus reach their audiences in line with the rapid development of technology and digitalization trends. Different art museums examined in the article adopt digital collection presentations to offer a wider and more accessible experience to their audiences. Digital collection presentation allows collections to be freed from physical limitations and provides opportunities for interaction with various contents for viewers. Interactive platforms offer viewers the opportunity to examine works closely, explore artists’ biographies, and learn about art history. Especially in troubled times such as global pandemics, digital collection presentation has helped museums maintain access to their audiences and strengthen interaction and connection between museums and viewers. Among the advantages brought by digital collection presentation are education, research, and encouragement of participation. Students, academics, and viewers can use online collections to examine in-depth intellectual access offered by museums in the digital realm, compare different collections, and discover art diversity. In addition, online events organized through digital platforms such as artist talks and workshops increase viewers’ interaction with art. As a result, digital collection presentation as a reflection of contemporary museum understanding enables museums to offer wider, more accessible, and interactive experiences to their audiences. With the advancement of technology, it is expected that museums will develop more innovative solutions on digital platforms and bring viewers closer to art.
