Buddhism is a life philosophy and religion that dates back 2500 years and covers many countries in the far east, including China, Korea, Japan, starting from India. While founder Siddyartha Guatama was the Prince of Sakya in North India, he gave up from life and reached the rank of Buddha and continued to spread his teachings until his death. After his death, his followers made sculptures, symbols, and temples to perform religious rituals. Even though its emergence in India, which is a very rich geography in terms of Religious Art, has created some common beliefs and symbols with Hinduism, Buddhism has its own understanding of shape and metaphors over time. Buddha statues are basically gestalts that contain certain subjects and movements and can be analyzed in an iconographic way. Some details or legends of what certain gestures, objects and postures mean can be resolved into consciousness. In this research, it is aimed to provide general information and perspective by examining the widely seen statues and symbols of Buddha, which is followed in all the Far Eastern countries and in the West after the 20th century.

At the beginning of the last century, the field that Marcel Duchamp had starts to discuss is the backbone of today's art. Although the inclusion of everything in the field of art has become an accepted approach, the relations between the artwork and the object has not ceased in the process that developed until the mid-1900s. However, just after Minimalist art's understanding of the simplistic form as much as possible, Conceptual Art movement emerged to show the true power of art and re-opened art itself as a Post-Duchamp attitude. Because in the stage of making sense of life, art is stuck in the shadow of material elements, in the formal space, and cannot go beyond its own reality and cannot create a trajectory of the truth and drifts into an instrumental position. This approach, which can be called as the de-materialization strategies led by Conceptual Art in the period from 1970-80s to the present day, continues to exist today and continues to discuss beyond the art's level of commodity. This approach, which includes performance and body art and video art, can be seen in the production of artists such as Robret Barry, Marcel Broothers, Michael Asher and Robert Raushenberg and also in a more contemporary sense can be seen in the production of artists such as Tom Friedman, Gianni Motti, Maurizio Cattelan, Martin Creed, Maria Eichhorn, Teching Hsieh. Besides, in 2016, all the artistic approaches to art and culture strikes (see #J20 Art Strike), which are announced to the whole world in America, are part of these strategies and examples of the discussion.

George Eliot (1819-1870), one of the most prominent writers in English Literature, lived in the Victorian Period, which lasted for about sixty-four years between 1837 and 1901. The Victorian Period had a patriarchal and male-dominated social structure. In this period, the women are particularly encouraged to marry and start families. The place of women in society is not a public life but home. Contrary to the Victorian social structure, George Eliot grew up in a family environment that was not restricted with religious and moral dogmas. Eliot has adopted a free lifestyle and reflected this feature in her works. Eliot opposes all sorts of roles imposed on women by the society. The author, who had to use pseudonym George Eliot instead of her real name Mary Anne Evans because of social pressure, expresses clearly her reactions in her work The Mill on the Floss, which was published in 1860, against all kinds of social restrictions and roles imposed by society. Eliot shows that the inequality between men and women can be seen in the field of education as well as in many other social fields. In this work, Eliot states that girls cannot have enough education and boys are more advantageous than girls in education no matter how smart they are. In this study, the inequality between women and men in the Victorian Period, the othering of women in the male-dominated society and the education system in the Victorian period will be discussed. In addition, the reflections of inequality between women and men, especially in the field of education in Mill on the Floss will be emphasized.

Social studies textbooks are materials that also include out-of-school learning environments, which enable students to learn by doing and living. Well-planned activities organised in such environments are vital for teaching certain skills students will need in their personal, social, academic and work lives. This study aims to identify out-of-school learning environments in social studies textbooks and determine the skills associated with the activities involved in these learning environments. The study sample consists of 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th-year social studies textbooks in the EBA online social education platform, which was updated in 2019. The descriptive case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was utilised. Study data were analysed descriptive and content analysis.. Out-of-school learning environments, such as family, home, school, immediate geographical, economic, sociocultural and historical environment, homework, virtual museums and social media, were identified in the textbooks. They did not show a balanced distribution and diversity. The out-of-school learning environments relating to historical, geographical, economic and sociocultural environment were found to be generally neglected in 6th and 7th-year textbooks. Homework was one of the most preferred learning environments in 5th, 6th and 7th-year textbooks. It focused on improving research skills. Skills like observation, financial literacy, evidence usage and spatial perception were among other field-specific skills to be taught to students in other activities relating to out-of-school learning environments. However, these field-specific skills were less compared to general skills. Out-of-school learning environments in textbooks should be improved in terms of diversity and field-specific skills. New arrangements to be made in the textbooks will provide children with opportunities for gaining numerous skills and developing themselves.

Airline travel, which has become accessible for every income rate within the scope of current developments and progress, is today's indispensable transportation model with its advantages. The strategic importance of air transport brings with it many threats. Terminals, which are the primary target of these threats; it is also the crossing point for elements that will endanger flight safety and security. Therefore, risk management activities are carried out to ensure flight safety and security, risks are identified and measures are taken with proactive measures. However, in case of emerging threats such as epidemic that threaten human health, it is economical, social and strategic to ensure the sustainability of travel without compromising safety and security. Airline passenger transportation was the main sector that was first seen in China in December 2019 and was affected by COVID-19, which soon became a pandemic. To reveal the processes at the airport terminals, both after the epidemic and against similar threats that may arise in the future; instead of facilities, sides and departments of threats and risks; It is thought that it will be more effective to handle and manage it with the process approach in the TQM (Total Quality Management) literature, which is the requirement of international quality standards. For this reason, within the scope of the study, the works and activities in the airport terminal enterprises were handled with a process approach and various measures taken with the emergence of the outbreak were evaluated on the processes and suggestions were made. It is hoped that the findings and suggestions obtained as a result of the study will contribute to the work to be done in the airport terminal management field, which is one of the most strategic stakeholders of the aviation industry.

The World Health Organization (WHO) was established with the aim of developing programs to improve the health sector and increase the health of global society, and to conduct studies on an international platform and to ensure coordination. Within this process, the WHO has adopted the idea that issues can be addressed through local and national health policies with the participation of non-health sectors and non-governmental organizations. Policies for health issues are determined and actions are taken based on decisions made at WHO meetings. Following the discussion of social problems such as equality, poverty and human rights, the Health for All (HFA) initiative, which was discussed at the World Health Assembly in Geneva in 1977, emphasized that inequalities between countries and within a country should be eliminated, health care delivery should be made available to all, and countries should determine their own policies. Today, the majority of people spend their lives mostly in urban areas and in dwellings away from the natural environment. The growing population consumes limited resources with rapid urbanization and migration from rural areas to the cities, and the physical environment is irreversibly contaminated with waste. These issues clearly indicate that the environment significantly affects the health of society. The strategy of HFA prepared the basis for review and development of health policies and the attachment of importance to livable and healthy environments, and the emergence of the concept of healthy cities. In 1987, the "Healthy Cities Project" was initiated by the WHO to develop healthy cities and increase the physical, psychological and environmental comforts of those living in the city through cooperation between cities, and to make more cities livable and healthy. The project aimed to provide a quality, healthy physical environment to everyone with the principle of equality within the urban population and protect the physical environment and community health through policies and practices to be created on a local and global scale. The project has an important place among health studies with the increasing number of its members and the growing communication network. This study aims to examine the decisions made in meetings where the relationship between the Healthy Cities Project and the concept of a Healthy City, as well as the relationship between the city and health are discussed within the framework of WHO's initiatives. The study also aims to discuss the role of the architect in improving the quality of urban life by creating healthy cities as well as healthy and livable physical environments.

The present continuous tense informs that being and making that the verb is showing is realizing right now. The present continuous tense indicates the moment of use of language. It is used to express the being and the making during the talk. Turkey and Azerbaijan Turkish are important and oldest branch of Oghuz Group Turkish dialects. The present continuous tense in the written language of the dialects is met with various suffixes. In Turkish of Turkey +yor suffixes are used for the present continuous tense in written language. In Turkish of Azerbaijan +r, +ir suffixes form the present continuous tense in written language. Turkey and Azerbaijan Turkish is composed of a variety of subdialect in itself. The subdialect that make up the two dialects differ with many features from the standard language. Artvin subdialect formed North-eastern subdialect of Turkish of Turkey has considerably moved away from the written language in terms of sound and form. Shaki subdialect is one of the subdialects of Turkish of Azerbaijan that spoken in Northern region. Like the Artvin subdialect, the Shaki subdialect also differs from the written language in terms of many sound and form features. Turkish of Turkey and Azerbaijan has not lost many similarities in sound and form both in terms of writing language and subdialects despite living in different geographies and political split exhibited by external powers. The comparison of present continuous tense suffixes of Artvin's subdialect and Shaki subdialect reveals this similarity more clearly. The subdialects can not follow the rules of the written language, but also produce their own specific sound and form features. Therefore, this situation can be seen in the subdialect of Artvin and Shaki which have been taken into consideration in the study. In the study, the present continuous tense suffixes used in the centers and districts of Artvin and Shaki's subdialects were taken into consideration. The present continuous tense suffixes with similar or different sound and form view in both subdialect were compared according to the persons by conjugating.

Playing chords is one of the important parts of the violin technique. The artistic tasks created by such techniques for the musician in the work of various national ecoles, trends and music styles are diverse. At the same time, the character of the violinist's playing technique and some other issues in the concept of "chord technique" are usually the same, close to all the parts that individual chords or sequences have revealed. Insufficient knowledge about this technique can become an insurmountable barrier to the artistic excellence of performance, especially polyphonic structure studies. The purpose of this article is to draw attention of teachers and students to this issue, to fill a certain gap in some theoretical compositions of science in this area of knowledge.
