The process of globalization has accelerated labor migration, but regional wars have emerged as one of the most important factors in the global migration movement. After the civil war that started in Syria in 2011, a massive migration to firstly the region countries and the whole of the world began to emerge, causing millions of people to fall to the position of refugees/asylum seekers. However, migration from Syria led to the concentration of refugees in some countries, while others, by means of measures, created barriers to the flow of refugees. This has led to the accumulation of Syrians, especially in countries with a common border. Syrians who migrated from Syria since 2011 have somehow integrated into the labor markets in these countries during their survival. Turkey one of the countries receiving mass Syrian migration through its open-door policy. Jordan and Lebanon, countries in the region along with Turkey have also opened their doors to a large number of Syrian. In this study, migration and refugees are discussed in relation between capitalist accumulation and Syrian refugees. In this context, the integration of Syrian refugees into labour markets has been evaluated through the example of the Turkish labour markets in which new inequalities have been built in the global capitalist process.

Assessment and evaluation is an actively used process in determining the educational activities’ aim, editing the content and evaluating the results. Social Studies is a course that aims to educate individuals who are loyal to national and spiritual values, gain global perspective, equipped with problem solving and critical thinking skills, and are committed to democratic and human values. This study aimed to show the usage of assessment and evaluation tools of Social Studies teachers. The research is a descriptive qualitative study. The study group is composed of 15 Social Studies teachers working in Akyurt, Ankara province. In this study, structured interview form and exam samples taken from teachers for the 2018-2019 academic year were used as data collection tools. The findings of the study were analyzed by content analysis method. Accordingly, although social studies teachers use alternative assessment tools, they tend to use traditional assessment tools more. The main reasons for this are the fact that traditional assessment and evaluation tools provide convenience in the preparation and application of scoring and that the weekly hours allocated for Social Studies education are inadequate in the implementation of alternative assessment and evaluation tools.

Nature is a limitless resource that contains many solutions and inspires technological developments. While the first starting elements of life, such as the first medicine and the first dye, are obtained from plants in nature, the relationship with nature emerges from a point when the source of great inventions that make our lives easier. As with lotus leaf or shark skin samples, living things in nature can easily and quickly control their surface properties under difficult conditions. As a result of observations made from nature, differences were observed in stenocara beetle and lotus leaf which are a part of nature and new technological products were revealed. The number and importance of these inventions, which are the result of scientists' monitoring of nature, is increasing day by day. Since it is learned that nanotechnology, which is the most popular technology today, is used by animals, systems that facilitate human life enable us to develop in a dizzying way. Many materials and devices designed by imitating nature make human life easier and more perfect. This technological field that develops by imitating living things in nature is biomimetic. One of the marvelous events that attract people's attention and arouse curiosity is the gecko lizard. Scientists have developed adhesives inspired by the adhesive tissue that gives the ability to climb flat areas beneath the feet of geckos. Within the scope of this study, the applications made by inspiring the adherence of geckos to the surface are mentioned.

The Uyuz Lakewas located inUylubağı village of Sulusaray town, Tokat which is the middle part of the Blacksea Region. The lake is about 10 kms from Sulusaray town and it is 65 km from Tokat and 30 km. from Artova town. The lake was occurred in a tectonic basin structure which is in the southern part of the Deveci mountains where the water is collected in the deepest part. The surface area of the lake is approximately 339.775 m2 and the height of it from the sea level is about 1035 m. The water of the lake cannot flow anywhere as the area seems to be a closed basin. The lake lies in the east-west direction and the lengtht is about 1,3 km in, the width of it is 200 m in the middle and 500 m in the east part. The water of the lake is salty as its water flows nowhere. The villagers of Uylubağı opened an artificial canal for the lake. Some immigrant birds such as Crane, Angry bird, Duck, Stork, Cormorant and Swans are stayed around the lake in the immigration periods and the vegetation of the area was highly destroyed. The local people of Sulusaray earn their living from agriculture and cattle dealing. In the area, the Uyuz lake, the Sulusaray thermal spring and the Sebastopols antique ruins and other natural and cultural values deserve to be evaluated. As the agricultural land have been divided, the trade of agricultural products lost their importance. As a result, most of the local people moved to metropolitan cities as seen in many parts of Turkey. It is thought whether the state and the private sector invest some money to these richness’s, the lake and its environment can bring a new facility to the people in economical and touristic aspects.

Accreditation programs are needed for the international acceptance of standards in health services. Accreditation is believed to have a positive impact on quality of care and patient satisfaction. Therefore, expectation and satisfaction levels of patients hospitalized with SERVQUAL scale were measured in a public hospital with TÜSKA-SAS accreditation certificate. SERVQUAL scale, which is used to measure perceived quality level in many service sectors, was used. The scale was applied to 100 inpatients. The data were analyzed by SPSS program and the expectation-satisfaction levels of the patients and the relation of these data with demographic information were compared. According to the results of the study, the weighted SERVQUAL score was negative as the scores found in the other stages. The meaning of these negative scores is that patients do not meet the expectations of the services they receive. However, the proximity of the score to zero showed that the perceived quality was close to meeting the expectations.
