TV is one of the most watched an most influenced mass media in today’s technology. Especially in the development of children in the first academic period, the effect of children’s programmes shows a noticeable and striking situation. Furthermore studies show that children are influenced by a picture they follow in the abstract period. Physiologically, it has been observed in many cases that children in the 3 - 6 age group, where the organism develops the fastest, develop positive or negative behaviors in the mental process and try to learn. In recent years, advertising films with animation have benefit many of the children’s features. Children look at television screens as a researcher and give different meaning to the shapes they see. I focuses on the behavior of the characters that are heroes as points of interest and the movements they emphasize most. In this period of development, programs suitable for children’s developmental assignments contribute positively to their development. Researches have stated in many studies that the first steps of success should be made, especially for pre school children. There are multiple children’s channels in Turkey. However, it was observed that the TRT children’s channels developed according to the developmental characteristics of children. In this study, 5 cartoons published as a visual series on TRT children’s channel were examined. In these 5 cartoons, comparisons were made qualitative by looking at the modes of the sport theme being processed and the duration of their taking. As a result cartoon technology today occupies a big place in the lives of children and parents and the messages given to the audience are carefully followed in this medium. When the establishing a new sports training system, a more qualified and extensive sports information system can be created by leveraging this space. A new research area can be created for researchers who will work in this field. As the system will make learning to lower age groups more enjoyable and desirable, the level of pre-learning in children can also benefit from this field. Nowadays, digital animation programs can be utilized in different areas.

This paper aims at analyzing Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf in terms of the traumatic experiences and recoveries mainly focusing on two main characters, Clarissa Dalloway and Septimus Warren Smith. It is not shocking to see the traces of this decade in the literary works of that age. As a modernist author, Virginia Woolf experienced World War I and Mrs Dalloway is a kind of mirror showing her witnessing to this bloody war. Both main characters in the above mentioned novel are under the oppression of their past memories and their society but their recoveries from this oppression are different. Not being accepted as a medical disorder but a simple stress, trauma is not taken seriously by the doctors and community who drives Septimus to a self sacrificing solution. Clarissa has a different traumatic experience from Septimus with her past always wandering in her mind and causing her to experience trauma. Their recovery experience is also differentiated in the sense that their points of view on life and death are not same. While Septimus takes life as an unbearable torture, Mrs. Dalloway thinks life is a story that should be experienced in every sense. And death means union to Septimus as it means separation to Mrs Dalloway.

Intelligence and security activities, which gained a new dimension with the development of technology and widespread use of the Internet, are turned into very different structure with the development of artificial intelligence and robotic technology. Artificial intelligence will have an important place in the future of intelligence and security. This paper is examined how intelligence especially artificial intelligence is affected by technological developments, and how it will be affected in the future. Today, the whole process of collecting, classifying, evaluating, analyzing and interpreting information for intelligence purposes can be done by cyber intelligence and artificial intelligence methods. Moreover, this process is carried out by artificial intelligence wider and cheaper than classical methods, faster and more rationally than human analysts. This paper points out the possibility that the so-called intelligence cycle can be carried out by fully autonomous systems which equipped with artifical intelligence (robotic intelligence analysts and robotic field experts) in the future.

Although disability studies are a new field of study, they first began to flourish within the framework of the social mobility of the 1960s. Combined with the mobilization of veterans with various disabilities from the Vietnam War in the 1960s, a disability movement emerged in the United States that emphasized disability identity and rights. With the acceleration of this movement, disability studies as an academic field started and shaped with the struggles of academics who are also disabled within the movement. Perhaps the most important achievement of the disability movement through the Medical and Social Disability Theories that emerged at this point was the redefinition of the notion of “normality olan, an ideology that looks after the disabled and a form of discrimination to which the disabled are exposed. After this definition of “normal yeniden which was reshaped in the 20th century, the bodies and minds outside this definition began to be called as disabled, and this abnormality attracted attention in many platforms, was discussed and condemned and sometimes violently judged. One of these platforms is cinema. The disability in the cinema has taken its place in many main themes and side stories with the characters created and the stories told. Therefore, the cinema of our country was not insensitive about the disability and in many films the phenomenon of disability was dramatized. The 1973 film amb Hump ”gives us important insights in terms of reflecting the structure of Turkish society and its approach to disability in terms of shooting the disability movements in the world. In this respect, this film, in which Fatma Girik and Kadir İnanır played disabled characters, was examined in terms of the Medical and Social Model, and the findings were evaluated in a sociological sense.

The notion of hope as an educational theme has drawn very little attention amongst the teaching community. Ironically, one the strongest factors influencing why individuals choose the field of teaching is an aspiration to change the lives of their students. This study explores the notion of hope in the lives of prospective teachers in the US. The respondent group for this study consists of pre-service teachers in their senior year of undergraduate work. A semi-structured interview captures how each prospective teacher interprets hope as a part of their teaching philosophies and practices. Findings reveal the notion of hope almost always exist in the lives of prospective educators since they choose the profession with the hopes of making a difference in children’s lives. In fact, there are more factors found in this study that influenced teacher hope such as quality of family life, physical health, sense of belonging, vitality, financial statement and so on. Future research should mention how personal factors such as character, living condition of teachers, family life and physical health influence teacher candidates’ hopefulness. Further studies should also explore the views of practicing teachers about hope.

Sheikhi is one of the important poets who produced works in the field of Old Anatolian Turkish between the late 14th and early 15th centuries. The poet has one Turkish Dîvân and two mathnavi known as Harnâme and Khusraw & Shirin, in which there are 27 ghazals. These ghazals are also found in the artist's Dîvân. According to our knowledge, the habit of adding ghazals into the mathnavi genre in Turkish literature is a literary tradition that has been seen since the 13th century. Sheikhi who followed this tradition, reinterpreted Khusraw and Shirin, which had been written in Persian by another Turkish poet named Nizâmî. In this article, the reasons why Sheikhi used ghazals in mathnavi were tried to be evaluated in the context of the theme. While doing so, the first and last couplets of all mentioned ghazals were given then, in order to show the transition, the mathnavi's couplets were given before he started producing ghazal's. In addition by locating his ghazals in the Dîvân, a comparison is made.

Oğuz Atay is a writer who deals with the contradictions of the individual with himself and with the society in Turkish literature. When the individual who cannot live according to his or her own values questions himself, we see that a re-existence emerges. While discussing the dilemmas of the individual in his works, he handles the socio-political critique of the period in a humorous manner. The aim of this study is to re-read Oğuz Atay's work, Tutunamayanlar, which has become a cult since the 1990s, in the socio-political context. Another important issue in the work that attracted attention with modernist and postmodernist expression techniques in the period it was published is the content of the work. In this sense, the work published in 1971-1972 carries traces from the social and political problems that arose with the early periods of the Republic. Social issues, which the author has more problematized with an ironic language, emerge in the consciousness of heroes and in their speeches. It can be said that while Atay makes the ontological problems of Turkish intellectuals, he also examines the social situations that cause these problems. The act of suicide, which can be considered as the purpose of the creation of the work, is carried out by Selim, who is an intellectual, or rather, who could not hold onto it. As Turgut Özben, his close friend, investigates this death, we witness social reasons as well as individual causes that lead an intellectual to suicide.

Businesses have some responsibilities that they need to take into account in order to survive. These responsibilities are generally referred to as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). CSR is divided into four groups as economic, legal, ethical and voluntary. CSR are also very important for SMEs that compose the majority of enterprises in Turkey. It can be said that the transition to the next generations of SMEs, the majority of which are family-owned, depends on institutionalization. In addition to maintaining the existence of an institutionalized SME, it can grow in time and operate in a wider area. However, some SMEs pay attention to CSR, while others attach importance to some of these responsibilities. In this study, it has been tried to determine whether the CSR of the business managers changes according to the regions in which they operate. In this context, a survey was conducted with SME managers operating in Şırnak and Gaziantep. The T-Test Analysis and the mean scores of the participants in terms of CSR dimensions were compared. In the analysis no significant difference was found between the means. This result showed that the region in which SMEs operate is not effective on their corporate social responsibility.

Science is the most incredible research method gifted to the world by humans. Even knowledge itself is the whole of everything we have done and everything we will do. Two female figures who drew attention to the relationship between science and gender and inspired the films ‘Agora’ (2009) and ‘Contact’ (1997) adopted mathematics as a universal language by presenting stories that were experienced or that could be experienced in the scientific world. One was the real – life story of Hypatia of Alexandria, and the other was a fictional character, Dr. Eleanor Arroway, the director of the US SETI project as based on Carl Sagan's Pulitzer – winning novel called ‘Contact’. Dr. Eleanor tried to prove the capturability of the universal language with the mathematical language she used in her mathematical communication with the aliens. Hypatia tried to understand the world, the universe and the sky with mathematics in 5th Century BC. Her works would later help scientists like Copernic and Galileo on astronomy and orbits. In this study, we will examine the emphasis on women, mathematics and universality from an impressionistic perspective as a result of bringing two female characters into cinema.

In the study carried out within the scope of electric guitar education, the effect of working with both note and tablature on the success of students was tested with different applications. In this context, a study group was formed by the students who taking special lesson with one of the researchers. The pre-test was applied with the study group and equivalence levels were determined. After the pre-test, three different works with the same students were studied with three different application patterns. In the first application, the first work was studied with notes only and in the second application the other work was taught with tablature only. In the last application, both the note and the tablature were taught together. For these applications three different exercises which equivalent with each other were written by the researchers. Students' performances were measured with an evaluation scale designed in accordance with the electric guitar, and the obtained numerical data were investigated with statistical analysis. In the statistical process, firstly, it was found out whether the normal distribution assumption was met or not, since it was understood that the data was distributed normally, it was considered appropriate to perform Anova test. Although good results were obtained in all three applications according to the measurement results, it was observed that the material presented in both note and tab was better understood.
