The art education of special and gifted children has been a serious issue in recent years. The Ministry of National Education, universities and non-governmental organizations are in constant efforts to contribute to the development of this issue. Photographs and cartoons are two areas of interest in every age group. Unfortunately, within the formal education process these two areas are not adequately addressed and sufficient training is not given. Producing creative ideas is one of the most important basic elements of art education. The development of creative design, one of the most important conditions for producing original and original artwork, can be used for photography and cartoon events. Producing cartoons with photographs using various three-dimensional objects and toys has been tried and succeeded by students at the secondary school level of the Sakarya Science and Art Center for a while.

In recent years, the rapid depletion of natural resources due to intensive urbanization and technological developments has caused the ecological balance to deteriorate. Particularly urban spaces have become the most affected structures in this situation as the natural environment gradually decreases. Impacts of environmental conditions on the negative side necessitated more precise measures with natural processes in each area. As in other areas of work, spaces have been designed in urban green ecosystem designs in urban green planning based on ecological principles that are compatible with nature. Ecological planning approaches in landscaping designs have come into being with appropriate spatial compositions in line with natural processes, in line with area needs. The main objective of ecological planning approaches is; to create a balance between nature and man by ensuring ecological integrity by including sustainable planning, design and implementation phases of the people, cycles and processes that make up the landscape. For this reason, ecological parks, unlike urban parks, provide social and economic contributions to the city in accordance with certain criteria. Even though ecological planning approaches are not applied much in urban areas of Turkey yet, studies done in this way will be an example. In this study, ecological parks in open green areas from urban planning approaches are addressed in terms of landscape planning, design and method approaches (field suitability, aesthetics, sustainability, plant design, wildlife organization, management and maintenance, field mission). In this context, Trabzon city parks Zağnos Valley Park selected as the study area were evaluated with this approach. The results have been compared with other applied ecological parks and suggestions have been made for the implementation and implementation of similar studies.

Due to factors such as different political boundaries, the dialectal phenomenon, which means a change that can occur according to regions and times on the same level, seems to be intensified in the Arabic language which is spread over a wide geographical area as well as every living language. Arabic language and literature researchs at academic level in Turkey despite the fact that it was done throughout the history of the Republic, Arabic dialects have not been a serious research topic. This article will focus on the causes of this "negligence" based on academic studies reaching the conclusion that the Arabic dialects are "neglected" at the undergraduate and graduate level in Turkey. The research will make an assessment of those who are at the level of the articles which will be appreciated superficially to Arabic dialect studies in Turkey.

We’re living in a social milieu, which is surrounded all around by the mass media. These media take part in this livelong continuing socialization process as called as ‘socialization agents’. They became inseparable part of this process. Since the early 1980s television rank among as the most influential and widespread one. Together with becoming so widespread of television, a broad debate went around on the content of television programs. Especially it has been emphasized about the influence on the society of the television programs with content of obscenity and violence, within this frame it has been developed miscellaneous theories and approaches. These debates have focused on the programs with content of obscenity and violence that they are individual and social threats and it should take measures. It is a great danger for the society’s members with the violence and obscene elements contained in evening main news bulletins which are watched in an environment where society is ordinary in daily life and all family members are together. In this study, we have point out to this danger, by using news samples taking from the evening news bulletins base on ‘case study’ methods. We put emphasis on some values which is a part of the religious tradition, that represents by the Presidency of Religious Affairs that has given service to inform persons over religious issues. We suggest that such studies, performed in this frame of values, could a measure against danger in question. These values are treated by the frame of ‘buffer mechanism’ which is used first by Mubeccel Kıray in Turkish sociological literature.

CURRENT STATE OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE IN TURKEY AND EVALUATION OF ITS POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT BY MEANS OF SWOT ANALYSIS

In parallel with the market economy globalized after World War II, changes in the agricultural production methods and practices gave rise to a rapid industrialization process based on scientific innovations. This, consequently, prompted developed and developing countries to seek new methods that will make agricultural production sustainable and avoid the devastation caused by the classical methods. On the other hand, sufficient nutrition and accommodation needs of the world population having been increasing since 1930's forced producers to make the unit area more fertile. Intense use of agricultural inputs deepened the concerns regarding the production of agricultural products that would be sufficient for the increasing population. Such unconscious action reached to threatening levels for the nature, environment and health of people and animals. In order to stabilize the natural imbalance, producers started to use a human and environment-friendly system based on the principle of working in harmony with nature and enhancing life through biological cycles by eliminating the use of chemicals. This introduced organic agriculture as an alternative way of production. This study aims to reveal current state and potential development of organic agriculture. The study specified the strengths and opportunities of organic agriculture in Turkey as well as its weaknesses and potential threats that may be experienced in the future by means of SWOT analysis. As for the strengths, the evaluation results have revealed that the organic agriculture has the areas convenient for growing different products in terms of climatic conditions and plant diversity; organic conditions allow to reap produces twice or more in a year in many places across the country; there is a substantial amount of traditional knowledge and experience to support organic agriculture; high costs decrease the use of synthetic fertilizers; labour-intensive workmanship is widespread; organic agriculture increases the employment, and there are institutions that would supervise the organic agriculture. Weaknesses of the organic agriculture include the increase in environmental pollution, use of the lands out of the purpose, the fact that the country's lands are small, fragmented and scattered, non-protection of germplasm, insufficiency of accredited laboratories to analyze the products, and animal products' holding a little share in organic agriculture. As the demand for ecotourism and health tourism increases, natural products are sold at higher prices, demand for organic produces continuously goes up, there is a chance of penetrating foreign market and interest in the health and quality products is increasing, the organic agriculture avails from important opportunities. Such challenges as heavily foreign-dependent inputs, adverse impact of recently increasing environmental pollution, global climatic changes, non-patented germplasm, and ongoing foreign-dependency in the field of technology pose threats to organic agriculture. In conclusion, weaknesses of organic agriculture in Turkey are dominant compared to its strengths. Recent changes in the concept of organic agriculture provide Turkey with new opportunities. Despite her substantial potential, organic agriculture in Turkey is becoming less popular than expected, as internal market is not taken into consideration.

The purpose of the study is to analyse what kind of hierarchy approach is adopted by the deep ecology which is frequently on the agenda. In this respect, the deep ecology approach has been investigated, in terms of anthropocentric and ecocentric environmental influences by employing the work of Arne Naess, who found and developed the concept. In addition, the concept of deep ecology platform has two principles on the concept of hierarchy. 2. Richness and diversity of life forms contribute to the realization of these values and are also values in themselves. 3. Humans have no right to reduce this richness and diversity except to satisfy vital needs. In hierarchical analysis, although it has anthropocentric elements, the ecocentric point of view is predominant.

The products made by marbling that are used in textile are expected to be resistant to external influences and have high fastness values. The fastness values of colors used for marbling affect the product’s quality and also its resistance to some physical factors such as light and friction. For this reason, fabrics are mordanted with alum before coloring. However, there are no scientific studies assessing the effect of mordanting on the fastness values of fabric, and the ratio of mordants that should be used. This research was designed to determine which fabric type is more suitable for marbling applications, whether mordaning is effective on the fastness values of fabric and if so which ratio of mordants would give the best fastness value. Therefore, 132 different marbling were made on three types of fabric which were cotton, artificial silk and polyester. A group of fabrics was not mordanted while another group was mordanted with %7.5,%15 or %30 alum. The color of these fabrics were measured and the values of friction fastness and sunlight fastness were determined. The results of the study would be aguidence for those who work on this matter.

Innovation derives from the Latin word "innovare" meaning innovate, renewal, progress, development and doing something different. For the companies innovation process is to develop and implement the existing products and services with different and innovative ideas and should not be confused with the invention. In terms of the tourism sector, innovation is one of the priority activities by creating added values and adding new and substantial changes of products and services introducing to the tourism market. Of course, for the organisations it is also necessary for new investment and budget allocation. On the other hand, in terms of tourism destination management, innovation should be regarded as a top priority for States. This requires the establishment of a successful system and the design and implementation of effective policies. Since the system approach in innovation involves the processes of producing and spreading information, the focus of the policy is based on effective communication with the tourism agencies and enterprises of the concerned country. It is essential for the public to work in partnership with private sector organizations including travel agencies and tour operators in order to pass on and develop “The National Innovation System". Travel operators should also look at the issue not only from their own aspect, but as well as sectorial, regional and national perspectives. The idea of innovation should be developed and commercialized for use in the tourism industry. In travel industry all the innovative work, the determination of the objectives, the strategies, the labor force, the investments should result in financial gain. No financial gain would indicate that there is a mistake in the determination of the target. So, innovation and creativity must be combined with commercial expertise. In this study literature was examined by using secondary data and sectoral applications.

The point at which the methodologies of Bourdieu sociology and other sociologists partake is the question of Bourdieu's accepted generalities and in this context an attempt to combine oppositions. The classical sociologists who laid the foundations of sociological science and the concepts they invented have formed a basis for the science of sociology by accumulating them day by day. This accumulation brought with it certain oppositions. Another distinction in the Bourdieu methodology is the effort and initiatives to overcome opposition. Bourdieu's conceptual development is based on the use of habitus, capital and space concepts, meta-theoretic principles and a broad perspective. In the context of Bourdieu's relational thinking, the idea of social integration and rationalization has mainly been found in the effort to understand the social reality as a whole. Bourdieu has brought a critical view of the dualities between concepts, guided by the assumption that every concept and theory is subject to change in the explanatory nature of the phenomenon examined. An important way of expressing Bourdieu's point of view on these concepts is the reflexive expression. Reflexive and Bourdieu intend to establish two-way circular relations between cause and effect. In this context, in social sciences, there is a struggle to make meaning with a social action that influences the triggering factors alternately on the thoughtful background. With this work, the concept of habitus and capital, which is very much considered by Bourdieu in the perspective of this perspective, has been tried to be examined.

Employment constitutes an important part of working life and economic theories. Today it is accepted as a global problem too. According to the International Labor Organization data, the global economy shrinks while the unemployment rate is on the rise. For this reason, employment, in other words unemployment, has become one of the priority policy areas of all states. Also in our country, unemployment is a chronic problem that has been going on for many years. Different policy instruments are used in the struggle against employment problems. In this study, the entrepreneurship trainings and supports were handled which are the one of the primary active employment policies implemented in Turkey. In this context, the contribution to employment and production of enterprises was evaluated that participated in entrepreneurship training given by KOSGEB in Uşak and benefited from financial support. The study was performed on SMEs which took KOSGEB New Entrepreneur Support between 2012-2016 and continue its operation. The questionnaire application which is one of the quantitative research methods was used in the study. 87 SMEs were included in the survey. According to the results of the research, the contribution to employment and production of enterprises established in Uşak province are limited. Employment of women, young people and disabled people is not at the desired level. These enterprises cannot generate sufficient added value within the economy. Nevertheless, these enterprises have not achieved the level of institutionalization appropriate to the needs of the age.

Popular culture confronts today's people with numerous dangers. This is the kitsch culture that is called the cheapest favorite from the danger. Out of the Kitsch culture, the emergence of consumption has been one of the things brought to the post modern age. Apart from necessity, the importance given to the image and the image phenomenon constitute the consumer society. Mass media; kitsch cultures and consumption cultivates the popular culture. Because popular culture appeals to masses, not individuals, everyone keeps and spreads simple things that create the same feelings. There is a constant controversy between art education and popular culture. Individuals who receive arts education in a healthy way can look at events that develop around them in a way that does not have a single point of view but with different perspectives. At the same time, art education provides a talent for people to express themselves more easily. Popular culture forces people to see the environment they live in from a single point of view. Individuals fed from popular culture follow the same film that the popular culture imposes, prefer the same piece of music, and read the same popular books. Popular culturally enmeshed individuals are given arts education to enable them to be selective readers, audiences and listeners, as well as being open to criticizing and criticizing individuals against them. Art education helps people distinguish between objects that are artworks and objects that do not artworks, and help shape people's lives and environments. This research; Today, our entire living space has been infiltrated by the popular culture and the damage caused by the popular culture art education was done in order to determine the effects. In this study conducted, the opinions of the students who took the art education course and the students who did not have the art education course were consulted in order to reveal the strong connection between popular culture and consumer society fired by kitsch and modern art in the Department of Classroom Teaching of Education Faculties. This research was done by screening method. Data on the method applied in this study were obtained by literature search and information collection forms. The study group of this research consists of the students in the Primary Education Department of the Faculty of Education of Cumhuriyet University. In this study, the relationship between popular culture and arts education was investigated in terms of the relationship between socio-economic levels of popular culture and daily life of the students who took art education course and their effects on art education. One-way ANOVA and Tukey test were applied to find a difference, and apart from these applications, descriptive statistical techniques including percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were used.

The probability integral is meant the function defined by the integral. For real values its argument, it is a real monotonically increasing function. The probability integral is encountered in many branches of applied mathematics, e.g, mathematical statistic, the theory of heat conduction and various branches of mathematical physics. In the probability integral represented by ?(x), the x variable can be real or complex. In this work, x variables are used as real variable. The probability integral and the error function are related functions to each other. The relationship is explained in second part. Also in the second part, it is explained that, using the normal distribution and probability integral than how the probable error value is approximately calculation is shown. In the third part of the work, Laplace transformation is explained. In the fifth part of the work, assuming that the initial temperature is zero and for a semi-infinitely insulated rod that extends infinitely along the x-axis, the solution of the heat transfer equation is made by using Laplace transform, and the solution function is obtained in the form of a complement of the probability integral. Finally, by using the solution function obtained in the fourth part, a probability density function which gives the temperature distribution is obtained.

Consumers make lots of decisions in their daily lives. Many situational, emotional, and cognitive factors in these decisions affect individuals and lead to a number of positive or negative emotions in their decisions. In addition, affecting the behaviors and thoughts of the individual in their lives is also seen as an important criterion in consumer behavior by being investigated in social sciences. In this study, the relationship between the satisfaction of the individual's feelings of regret in the decision-making process in terms of consumer behavior was examined.

This study was designed to examine pre-competition anxiety levels of actors who participate actively in Folk Dances in terms of some variables (sex, age and sport year). A total of 82 athletes participated in the survey in the Kırşehir provincial group competition voluntarily participated in the 82 Folk Dances, including 50 women and 32 males participated in the survey voluntarily and randomly. The SCAT Test, developed by Rainer Martens to measure the level of anxiety of athletes in the competition environment as a means of collecting data in the study, was developed by Martens et al. The contest created by the state anxiety inventory CSAI-2 test was applied to the players. There were no significant differences in the trait anxiety scores according to the sex, age and sport year variables of the Folk Dancers. As a result, age, gender, and age of sport do not affect the continuing anxiety levels of Folk Dancers. This can be interpreted as the fact that athletes of folk dances professionally dance, the height of their efforts to stay away from anxiety, participate in many competitions and performances during the year, and can maintain a certain level of past experience and anxiety levels.
