Economic developments require inputs to be optimized for businesses. Finding the optimal breed in animal breeding plays an active role in reducing costs and maximizing profits. Moving from here, the current study aims to determine the most suitable breeding in a poultry farm planned to be established in Kahramanmaras. With this aim, the literature review of existing studies has been carried out and the criteria that can be used have been determined. These criteria are weighted according to the perceptions of current farmers. By TOPSIS method, the weights obtained were measured by the characteristics of the breeds and as a result it was found that the Leghorn breed could be the most productive race according to the existing criteria.
