Abstract
Kur korumalı mevduat hesabında (KKMH) hesabın açılış tarihindeki döviz kuru , vade sonundaki döviz kurundan yüksekse ve mevduat hesabı sahibinin elde edeceği faiz/katılım payı gelirleri ,döviz kuru artışlarından elde edeceği kambiyo karının altında olduğu durumlarda ilgili fark merkez bankasınca mevduat hesabı sahibine ödenmektedir. Buradaki temel amaç dövize olan aşırı talebi engelleyerek Türk Lirasının değerini korumaktır. Bu kapsamda Cumhurbaşkanlığı, Maliye Bakanlığı ve Merkez Bankasınca çeşitli düzenlemeler yapılmış, KKMH’ından elde edilen gelirler vergi beyannamesinden istisna tutulmuştur. Diğer taraftan 01.03.2022 tarihinde Kamu Gözetimi Muhasebe ve Denetim Standartları Kurumu (KGK) tarafından “Döviz/Altın Dönüşümlü Kur/Fiyat Korumalı TL Mevduat Hesaplarının Muhasebeleştirilmesi Hakkında” duyuru yayınlanmıştır, Söz konusu bu duyuruda KKMH’nın bir finansal varlık olduğu , TFRS 9 Finansal Araçlar Standardı kapsamında Gerçeğe Uygun Değer değişimi kar zarara yansıtılarak ölçümlenmesi gerektiği belirtilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda bağımsız denetime tabi bir şirketin vadeli döviz hesaplarının KKMH’na dönüştürmesi sonrasında ilgili mevduat hesaplarının TFRS 9 kapsamında nasıl sınıflandırılacağı , dönem sonların nasıl ölçümleneceği ve oluşan gelir yada giderlerin nasıl muhasebeleştirilmesi gerektiği önem ihtiva etmektedir.
