Abstract
19. yüzyıl sonu ve 20. yüzyılın ilk yarısında ekonomik alanda yaşanan buhranlar ve büyük siyasi çalkantılar, sanat ve bilimde devrim oluşturan önemli ve köklü gelişmelerin ve keşiflerin ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. İkinci Dünya Savaşı’nın yarattığı yıkım tüm dünyayı etkilemiş ve kıta Avrupa’sında toplumsal, politik ve ekonomik alanda meydana gelen çöküş, sanatı da olumsuz etkilemiştir. Avrupalı yazarlar, sanatçılar ve bilim insanları Nasyonal Sosyalistlerin siyasi baskısı ve tehdidinden kaçarak, kendi ulusal sanat ve kültür ortamını oluşturmak isteyen Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ne göç etmişlerdir. Bu durum özgün Amerikan sanatının, Avrupalı göçmen sanatçılar tarafından oluşturulmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Dönemin siyasal, sosyal yapıları ve teknolojik gelişmeleri, içinde yaşadığı toplumdan beslenen sanatçılara ve sanat yapıtlarına etki etmiş ve sanatta yeni dönüşümler meydana gelmiştir. Sanatçılar sanattaki yerleşik konu, teknik veya üslup anlayışı yerine deneysel, yeni ve özgün anlatım yolları aramıştır. Sanat, bu sayede bağımsızlığına erişirken; sanatçı odaklı sezgisel, duyusal ve rastlantısallık üzerine sanatsal bir anlayış ve yapıt üretimi ortaya çıkmıştır. Günümüz sanatında halen güncelliğini koruyan 19. yüzyıl sonu ve 20. yüzyılda ortaya çıkan dışavurumculuk, modern sanat akımlarının doğuşunu etkileyerek sanat üretiminde farklı sanat tarzlarının benimsenmesine yol açmıştır. Bu çalışma, 20. yüzyılda İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında Amerika’da ortaya çıkan Soyut Dışavurumcu sanatçıların, kendi duyumlarına dayanan yapıtlarında yer alan karışık teknikteki kolaj ile nesne kullanımını incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Buna göre; soyut dışavurumculuğa giden yolda, önce soyut sanat ve dışavurumculuk ele alınmış, ardından Amerika’da soyut dışavurumculuğun ortaya çıkışı ve gelişim sürecine değinilmiştir. Son olarak da araştırmanın temel konusu olan kolaj ve nesne ekseninde sanatçı ve yapıt üretimleri irdelenerek, soyut dışavurumcu tarzdaki farklı yaklaşımlar ortaya konmuştur.

Abstract
The economic depressions and great political turmoil in the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century paved the way for the emergence of important and fundamental developments and discoveries that revolutionized the arts and sciences. The destruction caused by the Second World War affected the whole world, and the collapse in the social, political and economic fields in continental Europe also negatively affected art. European writers, artists, and scientists fled the political pressure and threat of the National Socialists and migrated to the United States, seeking to establish their own national artistic and cultural scene. This situation paved the way for original American art to be created by European immigrant artists. The political, social structures and technological developments of the period affected the artists and works of art fed by the society in which they lived, and new transformations occurred in art. Artists sought experimental, new, and original ways of expression instead of the established understanding of subject, technique or style in art. While art achieves its independence in this way; An artistic understanding and production of works emerged on the artist-oriented intuitive, sensory and randomness. Expressionism that emerged in the late 19th and 20th centuries, which is still up-to-date in today's art, influenced the birth of modern art movements and led to the adoption of different art styles in art production. This study aimed to examine the use of mixed media collage and objects in the works of Abstract Expressionist artists who emerged in the USA during the Second World War in the 20th century, based on their own senses. According to this, on the way to abstract expressionism, firstly, abstract art and expressionism were discussed, then the emergence and development process of abstract expressionism in America was mentioned. Finally, different approaches in the abstract expressionist style were put forward by examining the artist and the production of works on the axis of collage and object, which is the main subject of the research.
