Kanuni Sultan Süleyman’ın Annesi Ayşe Hafsa Sultan’ın Oğluna Yazdığı Mektubun Transkripsiyonu ve Tahlili

Abstract
Multidisipliner çalışmalar, her bir disiplinin kendi metodolojisini takip ederek ortaya koyduğu bilimsel veriler ışığında, araştırmacı ve akademisyenlere, aynı konu hakkında farklı bakış açıları sunmaları dolayısıyla oldukça değerlidir. Çünkü tema aynı olsa bile, her bilim dalının takip ettiği yöntembilim farklı olduğu için, elde edilen bulgular karşılaştırmalı olarak paydaşına sunulur ve böylece çok daha nesnel ve bilimsel bir değerlendirme ortaya konmuş olur. Bu yüzden incelenmesi yapılan mektubun, hem tarihi hem de edebi değeri göz önünde bulundurulduğundan, mektup metninin söz konusu alanlardan birer bakış açısıyla tahlil edilmesi uygun görülmüştür. Öncelikle mektubun yazılmış olduğu dönem olan, on altıncı yüzyılda Osmanlı tahtında bulunan Kanuni Sultan Süleyman ve Validesi Ayşe Hafsa Sultan hakkında kısa bir tarihçeye verilmiştir. Böylece genel hatlarıyla dönem ve çalışmanın temasını oluşturan tarihi kişilikler hakkında genel bir tarihi çerçeve oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca, bilhassa Ayşe Hafsa Sultan hakkındaki bazı tarihi yanılgı ve belirsizlikler, elde edilen yeni bulgular ışığında giderilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ardından mektup metni, transkripsiyon alfabesine uygun olarak Latin harflerine aktarılmış, daha sonra mektup günümüz Türkçesine çevrilip sadeleştirmiştir. Son olarak söz konusu mektubun içeriğinden hareketle edebi ve tarihi önemi hakkında bir değerlendirme yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
Multidisciplinary studies are very valuable because they provide researchers and academics with different perspectives on the same subject in the light of the scientific data that each discipline reveals by following its own methodology. Because even if the theme is the same, since the methodology followed by each branch of science is different, the findings obtained are presented to the stakeholder on a comparative basis, and thus a much more objective and scientific assessment is put forward. Therefore, since both the historical and literary value of the letter being examined are taken into consideration, it has been deemed appropriate to analyze the text of the letter from the perspective of one of the areas in question. Firstly, a short history is given about Süleyman the Magnificent and his mother-in-law Ayşe Hafsa Sultan, who was on the Ottoman throne in the sixteenth century, the period in which the letter was written. Thus, a general historical framework has been tried to be created about the historical personalities that make up the period and the theme of the study in general terms. In addition, some historical misconceptions and uncertainties, especially about Ayşe Hafsa Sultan, have been tried to be eliminated in the light of the new findings. Then the letter text was transferred to Latin letters in accordance with the transcription alphabet, and then the letter was translated into modern Turkish and simplified. Finally, based on the content of the letter in question, an assessment has been made about its literary and historical significance.
