Abstract
Mitolojik hikayelerden, gerçekten yaşanmış tarihi olaylara kadar pek çok hikaye, tarihin çeşitli dönemlerinde seramik eserler ile anlatılmıştır. Günümüzde de bu geleneği sürdüren seramik sanatçıları vardır. Geçmiş olaylarla ilgili anlatmış oldukları hikayelerin yanında, günümüz seramik sanatçıları büyük oranda kendi kişisel hikayelerini seramik eserlerinde anlatmaktadırlar. Seramik sanatında hikaye anlatım unsurlarını ele alan bu çalışmada öncelikle hikaye anlatımının genel çerçevesi okuyucuya sunulmuştur. Sonrasında seramik sanatı tarihinde, görsel anlamda hikaye anlatımına odaklanarak, farklı coğrafyalardan ve farklı dönemlerden seramik eserlerin örneklerine yer verilmiştir. Son olarak çağdaş seramik sanatının önemli isimlerinden bir olan, seramik sanatçısı Kevin Snipes’ın eserlerine yer verilmiştir. Eserlerinde yer verdiği hikaye anlatım unsurları analiz edilerek, çizimlerinin arkasındaki kavramsal yapı ele alınmıştır. Sanatçının eserlerinde anlattığı bu kavramlar ve kişisel hikayeler görsel örnekler üzerinden açıklanmıştır.

Abstract
From mythological stories to historical events, many stories have been told on ceramic surfaces in various periods of history. In recent, ceramic artists continue this tradition in ceramic art. In addition to, the stories they told about past historical events, contemporary ceramic artists mostly tell their personal stories in their ceramic works In this study, after the general framework of storytelling, storytelling elements in ceramic art have been presented. Afterwards, ceramic works from different geographies and different periods has been given by focusing on visual storytelling in the history of ceramic art. In the last section, Kevin Snipes who is the one of the important names of contemporary ceramic art, has been included. The storytelling elements in his works and conceptual behind his drawings have been analyzed. These concepts and personal stories of the artist in his works have been explained through visuals.
