Abstract
In this study, two philosophical approaches that include the hermeneutic concept in different forms will be evaluated. Dilthey and Gadamer will be presented in two chapters on how to deal with the notion of hermeneutic. Unlike Dilthey, who discusses hermeneutics as a scientific method for understanding all sciences, Gadamer's hermeneutics will be interpreted as a philosophical study of all comprehension activities. Dilthey treated hermeneutics as a scientific method and tried to present epistemological bases. He sees hermeneutics as a scientific enterprise with an approach based on understanding, life and the concepts of life. Gadamer viewed hermeneutics as a historical and experiential cognitive attitude in a traditional context.
