Kuyumculuk Sanatında Kullanılan Mokume Gane Tekniğinin Tarihi Süreç İçerisinde Gelişimi ve Çağdaş Takıya Uyarlanması

Abstract
Takı, insanoğlunun varoluşundan beri çeşitli inanç, büyü, tılsım gibi koruyucu bir eşya olarak ortaya çıkmış olsa da zamanla bedeni süsleyen bir obje niteliği kazanmıştır. Gün geçtikçe insanoğlunun takıya duyduğu bu ihtiyaç, kuyumculuk mesleğinin doğmasına sebep olmuştur. Bu meslek zaman içerisinde birçok tekniğin gelişmesine yol açmıştır; dolayısıyla bu araştırmada bahsedilen tekniklerden biri olan “mokume gane” de böylelikle gelişip günümüz kuyumculuğunda önemli bir yere sahiptir.
Bu çalışma nitel bir araştırma olup, araştırmanın amacı; mokume gane’nin günümüz takı tasarımlarına uyarlanmasıyla birlikte bu tekniğin geliştirmeye açık olduğunun gösterilmesi ve benzer çalışmalar yapan kişilere örnek teşkil etmesi amacını taşımaktadır.
Bu araştırmada mokume gane tekniğinin tanımı, kullanılan malzemeler ve tekniğin işlem aşamaları konularına değinilmiştir. Dünyada bu tekniği uygulayan 5 önemli sanatçının mokume gane uygulamaları üzerine 1’er adet ürün incelemeleri yapılmış ve çalışmalarının görsellerine yer verilmiştir.
Bu araştırmanın sonucunda mokume gane tekniğinin geliştirmeye ve takıya uyarlanması konusunda oldukça elverişli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract
Although jewelry has emerged as a protective item such as various beliefs, magic, and talismans since the existence of human beings, it has gained the quality of an object that adorns the body over time. Over time, this need of human beings for jewelry has led to the emergence of the jewelry profession. This profession has led to the development of many techniques over time, so one of the techniques mentioned in this research, mokume gane, has thus developed and has an important place in today's jewelry.This study is qualitative research, and the aim of the research is with the adaptation of mokume gane to today's jewelry designs, it is aimed to show that this technique is open to development and to set an example for those who do similar studies.In this research, the definition of the mokume gane technique, the materials used and the processing stages of the technique are mentioned. One product review was made on the mokume gane applications of 5 important artists who applied this technique in the world and the visuals of their works were included.As a result of this research, it was concluded that the mokume gane technique is quite suitable for developing and adapting it to jewelry.
