Abstract
Bu araştırma öğrencilerin gelecek kaygılarını incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri analizi yapılırken içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İstanbul ili Kartal ilçesinde bulunan okullarda görevli öğretmenlerdir. Görüşme yapılan kişi sayısı 16’dır.
Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin gelecek adına duydukları en büyük kaygının nasıl bir işe sahip olacağım kaygısı olduğu, gelecek kaygısını yaşayanların sayısının bir hayli fazla olduğu, kişilerin meslek seçiminde aile etkisinin önemli oranda rol oynadığı, öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun meslek tercihlerinde sevdikleri meslekleri yapmaları yönünde olduğu ve meslek seçiminde maddi rahatlık sağlamasının önemli bir etken olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.

Abstract
This research was carried out to examine students' future concerns. Qualitative research methods were used in the study. Content analysis technique was used while performing data analysis in the research. The study group of the research is the teachers working in the schools in Kartal district of Istanbul. The number of people interviewed is 16.
As a result of the research, it was found that the biggest concern of the students for the future is what kind of job they will have, the number of people who have anxiety about the future is quite high, the family effect plays a significant role in the choice of profession, the majority of the students are in the direction of doing the jobs they like in their career choice, and the choice of profession is financial. It is understood that providing comfort is an important factor.
