Abstract
Başlangıçta medikal veya spor faaliyetlerini desteklemek amacı ile özel amaçlı giysilerde kullanılan elektronik donanımların son yıllarda günlük giysilere de entegre edildiği gözlemlenmektedir. Sezonluk giyim ürünleri arasında yer alan elektronik giysilerin daha makro trend ve cinsiyetsiz (uniseks) olma durumu dikkat çekmektedir. Elektronik giysilerin fonksiyonel ve sembolik tasarım değerlerinin gömülü teori yöntemiyle çözümlemesi yapılarak giysilerin sahip oldukları iki tasarım değeri dengesinin belirlenmesinin amaçlandığı çalışmada; amaçlı örnekleme yoluyla 12 adet dış ve üst spor giysi incelenerek, giysi özellikleri kod, kategori ve temaları belirlemede ağaç diyagramı oluşturularak sistemik yapı oluşturulmuştur. Bu doğrultuda elektronik giysiler tek tek incelenerek her giysinin üzerinde barındırdığı özellikler belirlenmiş, kodlar ve kategorilere ayrılmış ve ait oldukları temanın altında yer aldıkları çözümleme tablosu oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen kategoriler sembolik ve fonksiyonel temaları altında değerlendirilerek giysilerde yer alma düzeyine göre puanlamaya tabi tutulmuştur. Çözümleme sonuçlarına göre, elektronik giysilerin tasarım değerlerinin dengeli olmadığı, sembolik değerlere oranla fonksiyonel değerlerinin çok daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
It is observed that electronic equipment, which was used in special-purpose clothing initially to support medical or sports activities, has been integrated into daily clothing in recent years. The fact that electronic clothing, which is among seasonal clothing products, is more macro trend and genderless (unisex) draws attention. In the study, it is aimed to determine the balance of the two design values of the clothes by analyzing the functional and symbolic design values of electronic clothing with the Grounded Theory method; a systemic structure was created by examining 12 outdoor/outer and upper sportswear through purposive sampling, and by creating a tree diagram to determine the clothing features, codes, categories and themes. In this direction, electronic clothes were examined one by one and the features of each garment were determined, codes and categories were divided, and an analysis table was created under the theme they belonged to. The categories obtained were evaluated under the symbolic and functional themes and scored according to the level of involvement in clothes. According to the analysis results, it has been determined that the design values of electronic clothing are not balanced and their functional values are much higher than symbolic values.
