Abstract
Sendikalar, işçilerin haklarını korumak ve iyileştirmek için ortaya çıkmıştır. Günümüzde Türkiye'de ve dünyada sendikalaşma oranları düşmektedir. Türkiye'de eğitim sendikaları, güçlü sendikalar olarak bilinmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı sendikaların okulda karar alma süreçlerine etkilerini incelemektir. Çalışmada yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlara göre sendikaların okullarda karar alma süreçlerine etkileri konusunda eğitimciler memnun değildir. Sendikaların öğretmenlerin özlük haklarını yeterince savunmadığı ve mesleki sorunların çözümüne katkı sağlamadığı çalışmanın sonuçları arasındadır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları 10 katılımcının verdiği yanıtlarla sınırlıdır.

Abstract
Unions emerged to protect and improve the rights of workers. Today, unionization rates are decreasing in Turkey and in the world. Education unions in Turkey are known as strong unions. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of unions on decision-making processes at school. In the study, semi-structured interview method was used. According to the results, educators are not satisfied with the effects of unions on decision-making processes in schools. It is among the results of the study that the unions do not adequately defend the personal rights of teachers and do not contribute to the solution of professional problems. The results of this study are limited to the responses of 10 participants.
